Pedophiles are very good at seducing children. They take their time gaining their trust and breaking down their inhibitions. They are very patient predators who are good at making the child feel that this perverted act that it is natural. This kind of gradual mental manipulation on the surface could look like consent, but it truly is not

There are scores of adults who are scarred from situations just like this. Many who have been manipulated into thinking that they brought it on.

ibriggs your argument is very refined, but society is wrong on alot of things, so I don't think there's anything wrong with questioning it. Dendro is not opposed to morals, he made that clear by saying that penetration is wrong as it hurts the child. And that those who think like him come from disfunctional families, I agree, I think they become the strongest people, and they become much more independent from society. The problem is they don't get respected and listened to like they should.

@noisefuckerxxx I agree. Most of my friends who had tough childhoods, and came from broken or even merely "unusual" homes are some of the strongest people I know. I was merely pointing out the irony of people who never experienced a "typical" childhood criticizing the institution, or the morals that created that institution. It's as ignorant as if the roles were reverse, but unfortunately in America I think we tend to fetishize the down-trodden.

When you say a society must work toward a single goal, are you saying that in a society everyone must think and believe the same? We should have one single sexuality, one single religion, one single political view? Is freedom to express your individuality harmful to society? If it is wrong to question a society's morals, is it also wrong to question other areas of a society?

btw, America wouldn't exist if no one questioned their society's morals.

A "single goal" is NOT a single moral expression. My point wasn't that society should be completely homogenous, just that the certain moral precepts provide for a stable society within which progress is actually easier to achieve. Which brings me back to the original point of this video: Anarchists like Dendro exist within the framework of western civilization, a hypocrisy I think is lost on him and on many like him.

I dismiss your points. You have the wrong definition of society. Society never and will never be what keeps you going in the right direction because the ultimate goal of society may not be a good thing. Society is not about keeping us from killing each other-just read some history.

Same things goes for family, what your saying isn't the right way- its simply the current way and its far from perfect.

@isrtor I think you confuse my definition of society with your own personal feelings about the government. Society is not the government. The government exists as an extension of society, not the other way around. If you think that the people around you wish for harm to come to you or vice-versa, you are solely mistaken. Either that, or I suggest that you move.
