I got some of the parts you listed, i am not sure about the resistors. I got 10 ohm but what watt should i have gotten. I picked up the smallest which was 10 ohm 1/8 watt. Will that work for 4 smt leds?

you cant use 0805 as far as i know. u can only use 0603 smd leds. and for the resistor to use, it depends on the number of led's you plan to have in your psp.

to calculate your proper resistence. u must know the following: power supply(in volts), how many leds, forward voltage and current of each of your LED.

hey, im doing the sound reactive LEDs mod... i've cut a place near teh batter to put a Dip Switch and it fits perfectly,,, i have opened my psp a few times and now the D-pad feels a bit funky and the Right Arrow doesnt work... what did you do to solve the Funky-ness???

i bet if i move the do pad around or blow some dust out of the way, teh right arrow will work normal again... but the funky-ness, IT"S OUT OF STYLE!!!

no you need to make sure that the rubber covering is on there right because if its no then the button wont work right

Well you don't exactly build resistors. You have to buy them. And yes if you do not use a resistor you will blow the led's, or worse your sound fuse.
