It's simply called the animation. It's an extremely compressed version of the ODE events of OG Gaiden with most of the characters and other factions cut out. Well to be specific this came out before OGS did, and they took it and built other elements into it.

It's basically just SRX and ATX teams and Masaki vs Bartolls and Juergen, with everybody else not around.

I agree, although I would go even beyond that statement and say that only one OVA was much better then entire series of DW. The Cell-shaded 3d models were a joke and not to mention crappy fights. SRW OG anime deserves a level of animation like Gundam series.

@juliox9 althoug Cosmoa Nova was at its best in Divine Wars, at least the fights were better staged, simingly the ova would have needed that person as well (well the animations of DW were somehow acceptable in the end)
