  • Do u know how historical this video could b? Send that in to a storm chaser or something holy shit lol

  • This video blows. :)

  • If I was there I woulda made a deposit in my pants!!!

  • This is why EF-5 tornadoes are the "finger of god"

    Or a bulldozer

  • very scary that this could happen basically anywhere

  • @Toyeboy89 Well anywhere in the high plains, midwest, ohio valley, and the south

Its rare for large destructive tornadoes elsewhere (EF-3 to EF-5)

I live in Lino Lakes, MN (just north of Minneapolis) and we had an EF-3 tornado go a mile north of us, on this same day.

  • inside job. you can see the thermite blast at 0:05 (I am totally joking)

  • whoa

  • and the money???? in the heaven

  • the money flying over the city! lol

  • 8 people died that day, you dumbasses. Be thankful you weren't there.

  • how did the camera's save the footage, and not brake?

  • @bestiecuzinz1234 cameras are build into special cases to keep from being destroy..and they also are conected to auxiliary power.thats why they dint loose power and keep recording thru the mess.

  • @oceanhi10 Oh I don't know hiding in shelter....

  • look at all the money flying.

  • Tornado..... Gimmie a loan!!!!!! Bank.......... NO Your credit is wack!!!! Tornado..... FINE Than I shall puff and puff and blow the bank down!!!!!!!!

  • This tornado will be on the news for sure.

Not for destroying buildings, but for being a theif!

  • Did he died?

  • Bank Empty (Sunday?) or everyone in shelter?

No, DBR, tornadoes are not driven electrically.

But water and hail do produce electrical charges which disharge as lightning.

Also powerlines shorting and grounding produce arcs.

  • The tornado needed to make a deposit I guess lol

  • Its taking everything like a vacuum cleaner.

  • shit... does this mean i lost all my money i deposited?

  • Pft. I can do that.

  • Dangerous and yet perfect time to rob the joint.

  • Tornadoes are like boom b**** get out my

    f***in way!!!

  • at 0:38 you can see the "RED ALERT" thingy flashing. :D

  • This is REALLY good footage of a VERY powerful tornado, thank you for posting, and peace ( hopefully / eventually ) , to the survivors of Parkersburg. :(

  • holy damn shi*. scary! i want to be a storm chaser. so i might live there.

  • That's pretty bloody scary

  • that tornado maybe took 10000000 dallors then ran away with it so it could hire every tornado to take over the world lol

  • should have been waiting in a car for it to pass and then run to the bank, maybe you could pick up some extra cash

  • they put all of the cash into the vault before leaving nothing is able to destroy that but 20 pounds of c4

  • lol

  • I guess the tornado wanted to take out a loan.

  • took out everyone elses loan too, and the entire bank

  • @Gebora Agreed.

  • it was mad at the bank cause it didnt give it a loan lol

  • GAY

  • @jsimone1320 LMAO!

  • HAPPY B/D 2 ME-- A DA B4 MI B/D-- THE miGhty GOoD, SHOW'N US WHT HE CAN DO!!!

  • hmmm, english please!!!!

  • Can you put some more light in there so i can see!!

  • oh gosh!! :((((

  • @shthd84

Not really all that weak to the families of the several people that died. Or the owners of several hundred destroyed homes - all in a town less than 2 sq. miles in size.

  • The flashes of light at 1:28 are very eerie. It's as if the world is ending outside.

  • @DBR96A Yep. Tornadoes have been guessed to be electric, as in electrically driven, or at least *generate* huge amounts of electricity, because of all the lightning and electrical that someone sees in these videos. It's not always powerlines or transformers either....

  • @tall32guy

The driving mechanism behind a tornado relates to thermodynamics and fluid dynamics, not electricity. That much is understood. Power flashes are pretty common when a strong tornado hits a populated area. Also there's the fact that tornadoes are produced by thunderstorms, which can produce frequent lightning.

  • @dragonridley I knew someone would "debunk" my comment with rationalizations and just the one I expected too. LOL Oh well that is to be expected because it's Youtube comments. ;)

  • What our resident Europeans don't seem to realize is that wind speeds in a tornado can be much faster than wind speeds in a hurricane. The fastest sustained winds ever recorded in a tropical cyclone are 190 miles per hour, and the fastest gusts ever estimated are at just over 200 miles per hour. The tornado in this video had wind speeds recorded at almost 300 miles per hour. That's a big, big difference, and few buildings anywhere in the world could withstand them.

  • poor bank :)

  • LOL that's just too funny but i feel bad for all who lost there lives in this heap.

  • free money pl0x

  • If GomerDose was wiped off the map, nobody would notice either.

  • i need to make a withdrawl

  • Thankfully it's showing nobody in there, that's INSANE.

  • Typically When there is a tornado all bank employees go into the vault.

  • hahahahah!!!!!!!!!!

  • Why did people thumbs down this! What is hahahaha insulting now! I don't get it! Im gonna thumbs up it!

  • thanks i was laughing at someones comment, i dont even remember this.

  • But still hahahahaha isn't an insult! Your a good person!

  • thats not even funny at all i live in iowa all right

  • @justin3815 i dont think its funny either if peoplewere in there people might die

  • you're an asshole. many people's lives were completely changed by this tornado. go and crawl back to the stupid big city that you come from

  • omg you can see the tornado at one poing :O

  • person below me honestly are you callin a cry for help or something.I mean not to be mean but superman is not real and no one here on youtube can come an rescue you. Unless its YouTubeMan lmao.

  • your mean nay nope and i'm a girl!

  • I thought you were just joking, I didnt take it serious.

  • well i live in south dakota nd rite now i'm really scared n i'm 12 and earlier i was listening to 93.1 and they said thundder storms tonigh

and i was watching this and my mom wenrt by and i peaked out side and theres a thunder storm and i'm reallllyyyy scared:(:(:( i live in wanblee south dakota:(:(:(:(

  • Youll be alright living in South Dakota, they are uncommon up there. If you lived more in the southern states like Oklahoma i would be scared.

    So did any tornados come?

  • guy below that is so wrong

  • is it sickening that all i could think of is how easy it would be to run in that bank after and grab some cash

  • I wonder what a bullet proof windows would have done better in this situation...

  • Scary!

  • wtf TORNADOS are never AWESOME!

  • I like how it starts out lite and fine then gets darker and darker and then nothing. I love that! 5/5

  • r u fucking stupid?????? people like u should be shot.....this was on every news channel...of course ur too busy doing ur retard homework to watch the news!

  • fake my ass this happened last year. What the hell is wrong with you

  • Yes, this happened. I graduated on this day. My boyfriend is a firefighter in Grundy Center and he and his crew were one of the first on scene after the tornado hit. Research it, please. It was very devastating. Thank you.

  • do you make your houses out of twiggs there so when a tornado comes and blows it away you can just go pick up and bring it back or is there another reason

  • Oh and you would know how to build homes to withstand 300 MPH tornado winds since your in the UK and all, next you'll tell us how to build earthquake proof homes. Read a book, get a clue, and shut your mouth little boy. Your making a fool of yourself and your country. I thought the UK had a good educational system?

  • dick head its bean proved that there are buildings that can withstand high winds and they have allready made earthquake proof buildings i think its you the needs a education not me asshole

  • oh your a clever bloke, and you already have such a expansive vocabulary. First, wood frame homes and glass panels will not withstand 300MPH. Do you understand what a small rock can do when thrown from a tornado? If you built homes that could do this they would cost more then the average person could afford. There is no such thing as "Earthquake Proof" only earthquake resistant up to a certain strength smarty. I believe my point is still valid.

  • so isnt earthquake resistant the same then cos it is were i come from and yes i have seen what a stone can do at that speed of wind and there will be damage it just wont go all the way thruogh your wood house or your trailer and dont text back you will never win

  • well i guess i have to school you a bit more, earthquake proff means no matter what an earthquake can NOT hurt the structure, resistant means thats its built to shrug off an earthquake up to and including a certain number, like 7.0. You obviously have no idea what the wind power of a tornado can do if you think a stone wont go all the way through when tossed at speeds in excess of 300MPH/482.40KPH. Go to college then we'll talk. Yours stupidity and arrogance is shocking.

  • as for resistant and proof they are the same as in water proof resistant and bullet proof resistant obviasly every thing has a braiking point but its harder so thers no argument there as for speed are all tonados 300 mph i dont think so but a stone built building will last through more punishment than a wood house or trailer every thing can be broken it up to you if yor going to live somewhere like tornado ally as to haw you protect your self

  • my point is this, in the modern world we have a common understanding of the word resist. We understand that when something is manufactured to resist another thing, it only works to a certain point, its "Breaking Point". We understand that anything that's "Resistant" will fail. We also understand that the word "Proof" in reference to strength means that it is impenetrable, unwavering, absolute. The man resisted arrest. Water Proof Seal.

  • Also, we as first world countries have the technology to build structures that can "resist" tornado's and earthquakes but due to the extreme cost to build these said structures, its not practical for the average person. Yes buildings in Los Angeles and Tokyo are retrofitted for earthquakes as are others but they have the money to do it. Your car salesman, computer repair tech, or farmer don't. Do you understand my point or not? Your original statement is debunked.

  • ha ha this is why I live in California suckers~

  • GomerDose, type in The San Andreas Fault, see what you find out.

  • LoL

  • @EnjoiFLiP412 Haha lol. pwned.

  • money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That happened to me once

  • unless your in there.

  • wow derek799 your dick must be huge. i mean you arent scared? jesus you are manly.

  • wow you can see the doorway turn real dark before the lobby gets destroyed

  • that bank got crushed.

  • Nothing can stand up to mother nature. mother nature is the most powerful thing to mankind especially tornadoes.

  • i would of got the money haha jk

  • Hi! My name is Melissa and I work for TRUE tV in Los Angeles CA. does anyone know the residents who's house was demolished directly across the street from the bank. please comment back or contact NASH Entertainment at 323 468-4600

  • u work 4 trutv thats awesom tel worlds dumbest criminals comedians that there some funny. i lik the lady who stuffed her pants with chocolate. "I gotta get some chocolate chip cookie dough". LOL

  • I wonder what it was like in the vault.

  • 1:27 : Condensation vortex inside the bank!!! Incredible!!!

  • what are you talking about... it's part of the ceiling hanging down.

  • what happened?

  • looks like an earthquake event

  • that's unbelivable! it gets pitch black right before it gets ripped apart!

  • They arent going back to work for a while!

  • Hoooo

  • Looks like nuke just went off.

  • yea theres a story that this lady was in her basement with her kids and they rushed down there but they didnt make it to the crawlspace in time so they got in a corner and she was bracing her kids and stuff then it got all calm and they looked up and they were in the eye and apparently it was all green and they rushed to the crawlspace....to bad they didnt have a video camera then they would be fucking rich...

  • this is amazing footage. This tornado must have been a fast mover. It goes from light and calm to hell in just seconds.

  • It looks like you can see the tornado on 1:27

  • thats a ceiling thing...

  • first thought at destruction Holy Crap!!!!!!!!

  • Yeah. . . . . ? So? What are you going to do about it. The citizens of this country cannot do shit anymore because of many other things other than money. Do you even know the value of the dollar? It used to be where we could trade our dollar in for the exact same value in gold. There are more factors than just the Central Banks and the Federal Reserve. It is also the foriegn policy, our debt to other countries and other factors which dictate and influence the system. Stop thinking absolutely.

  • Yes, and if you knew the dollar was intetionaly devalued by the federal reserve everytime interest rates are lowered, or when your government gives you rebate checks or as I like to call them welfare checks. I am completely aware of the entire scenario. War= money. Inflation = high commodity prices. When wachovia or lehman brothers fail, watch out because the federal reserve has no safety mechanism left. Abolish the Federal Reserve. It is not legal, only congress is allowed to "coin" money.

  • BTY fiat currency has Never had the same value as gold, Never. A fiat currency system immediatley causes debt. We do not tax people enough to cover the interest on our national debt. We have had three fiat money currency system failures since the forming of this country. Many other things factor into this mess, but my reply was about banks. Whoever gave a negative reply, it only shows their ignornace.

  • Hmm you sound like an angry old man!

  • Is the video is too pixelated, to see real detail due to youtube resolution restrictions, or is it just that way? But I thought I saw a funnel thing on 1:27. 0.0 BTW This tornado struck on my birthday! Freaky coincidence!

  • 1:27

  • i live like 40 miles from where this happened. but there was like a tornado spotted about 10 miles from my house

  • I agree, here in EU i've got a house made of bricks with tripple walls. After one of the worst hurricanes here not even a single thing broke or got damaged.

  • nothing will stand up to a tornado

  • i can. . . . lol. And reinforced concrete shelters. But to a tornado of this magnitude, nothing but steel re-enforced concrete will be left w/o incredible damage. However, the light fixtures were left standing and some of the lights were not blown away or damaged by debris, they still worked after the tornado. So. . some things can stand up, but there is always crazy shit that happens in tornadoes, like the baby that was thrown in the May 3, 1999 F5 tornado that hit Moore. and lived. . =]

  • Adomolis, that has to be the stupidest comment ever. An F5 tornado's winds are so powerful that it literally strips asphalt off of roads. Nothing less that reinforced concrete structures can resist winds like that. And your "hurricane" winds are absolutely nothing compared to our tornados. So STFU already.

  • Well, against ef-5 maybe, but I was talking more about a bit weaker tornadoes and those conventional wood frame houses you have. Damn man, they have paper walls... PAPER!!!

  • Really? This comment is nothing but bad taste.

  • most random but interesting comment ever.

  • HA,you must never seen the power of a tornado up close. My friend Bill had his house tripple layer with brick, and that EF-5;just pick his house a part.So in short no home is safe from a EF-5,period.....

  • how about one of those air-raid shelters with the foot thick walls of lead?

  • nope

  • Do you know what happens to a brick house in a F5 Tornado?Yeah, you guessed it lots and lots of flying bricks.Maybe Europeans don't know everything, isn't that right ZehSebastiaan.

  • whats scary about it is there was no safe place to hide..i was thinking oh the kitchen looks pretty safe..boy was I wrong

  • That would be groovy being in the center. Never seen footage that shows it up close so well.

  • man this is violent ownage never seen windows blown out like that it was soo pwnage

  • lol

  • PWNED THE BANK! PURE TORNADO PWNAGE!

  • Amazing video, yeah those last few frames in the video looked like the vortex (not sure what it was though). I find it scary how all of the areas in the bank went pitch black when the tornado struck. Insane video!

  • I think it was simply from the camera being blown around...it couldn't have been the vortex because this was a huge tornado.

  • If I was the security camera installer, they can say "ours will survive a tornado."

  • Funny, that was the first thing I thought of. "The camera manufacturers as well as the installers deserve a major pat on the back."

  • "No one else can compare." lol

  • OCrap - that's SCARY
