@hebneh. Yes, I remember... Such an influence his role in that film was on me at age19. In his personal life, McQueen had not the sophistication & refinement he sought to display in the role. Nonetheless, and probably for that very reason, he was highly motivated to demonstrate his ability to carry off the part successfully. He wanted it to be his Crowning achievement. I loved it. This music was also used in the second robbery scenes orchestrated to test the character played by Faye Dunaway

I bought the original soundtrack maybe 20 years ago in a recordshop in soho (accidentally marked 3 quid) , always loved this track.
