@yamaguchiballas2 Yeh the body make up is very dark as is the hair color. The producers wanted her to look even more "exotic" than her natural skin (more fair) and hair color (brunette not black). She mentioned this one time in an interview. They wanted her to be different from all the other pros.

Little did they know that she didn't need such tricks to make THAT happen. She stood out from week one. :)

this was a very, very beautiful rumba, but the singer sucks, and so is the song. I would replace the song to Jordin Sparks rendition of "Woman in love" by Barbra Streisand. It flows beautifully with this dance.

Yes, this is my favorite Rumba of all I 've seen on DWTS betw a pro and a celeb; though Emmitt and Cheryl's Rumba runs a very close second. Betw pros my favorite Rumba is Cheryl and Maksim's. If you have a moment, you might want to check those out too. :))

AND yes there is a theme here, Cheryl's talent as dancer and choreographer for Rumba is my favorite on the show. TaDA!

Yes! singingpepper Len's remarks were off the mark vav 'raunchy' and also about scolding Drew for being 'too aggressive. If you look carefully you will note that in this rumba it is clearly the woman who is the 'aggressive' partner. The guy is simply trying to meet her requests. Very clever, very witty, very romantic rumba. It makes me smile every time I watch it.

I think these 2 have had the best chemistry on the show up to now. To be honest, when I saw Apolo & Juliane this year I knew they'd do well because they reminded me of Drew & Cheryl. I think height has a bit to do with it as well, she & Ian never got as close.
