I can't find the original sound, but I think it might have something to do with the final mix process reverb/compressor/limiting?

Hmmm... But, it's NOT noisefree at all it as some hiss noise sounds, but they blend very well with the actual sound of the machine.

Good question, but I think it might be the reverb. Or maybe from the hihat section as we actually had some problems with it.

Well, I like to make "good" sound. And it's rare that you hear drums without effects in music. But...

The only thing I'd like to see maybe later in another clip would be a demonstration without the effects in your studio, just dry so we get a better idea of the sound. Also something demonstrating what the fill button does.

Thank you so much for posting this. I've been thinking about selling my digital drum machine and going just analog on the drum sounds. I miss my DR-55 and this thing looks close. So Tiny and cute too :)
