what a journey...how is Ireland doing now? My 20mo old had EA/TEF repaired at birth (she was 10 weeks early, 2lbs14oz), she had ROP(3), IVH(3), umbilica hernia and has VUR, ROP, aspirations, GERD, eczema. She is doing well overall but does cough chronically especially during meal time. it's been worse in the past few weeks and Cleft is something we are thinking about. HOw did you guys know she had it, what were her symptoms? Has she have her EA/TEF repair yet? How about for the cleft?
What a truly beautiful child, and so blessed she is for having such a loving family. It's true, difficulties and sickness teach us new things about what's important and what's not. What an impressiv battle to fight for a little girl, she's a tuffy =D I wish u a "prosperous" future with ur little miracle! Love from Norway.
