Back when I used to work nights, I used to listen to Larry's show. The night people who called in were an interesting bunch and it always made for some great listening.
I live in the Boston area and these days there is absolutely "nothing" on nighttime radio worth listening to. When Larry Glick went off the air that was the end of Boston nightime radio. I started listening to him in the mid 1960s when he was on WMEX radio....he later moved to WBZ. It was really nice being in bed at night with my AM transistor radio cluched in my hands and the little earphone in my ear (so my parents would not know I was still awake)

He was unique and it was a time in radio that doesn't exist anymore. I'm still a radiophile but depend mostly on podcasts to fill my days.
