@Teremina33 well yes they have to, but you need to remember that handball (or team handball as its called in USA), has just began to gain ground there after the '96 olympics they hosted. Many teams are made up of beginners and someone that played for maybe one-two years. But, they are doing a really good job over there in promoting the sport and good progress has been made. Ofcourse it will take years, even tens of years, before they can compete with top nations like germany, croatia or france..
...but believe me, if the progress continues with the same speed as it have, i would say that the americans could be a team not to overlook if you think on for example the olympics 2020 or 2024. Things take time, i know this well, living in Finland where handball is a small sport... You just must have patience and sooner or later there will be a breakthrough...
That's US nationals? Oh my god, guys please practice more... most youth teams in Germany are much better. But I'm still happy that this exciting sport is starting to gain people's interest in the US.
handbal is very big in europe and in north of africa and in parts of asia and south america... I´m very happy to see this nice sport in the United States.
hmm, i think that handball could be big in the US, its fast, lots of goals, tough, and offen gets very dramatic at the end. you could throw in a fight or two a game, and you have the next biggest thing
Didn't knew USA had a national championship of handball. Nice. It's going worldwide. European should do some exbhition matches to show how spectacular this sport can be.
Combine rugby with team handball, and you could possibly have the greatest sport ever invented.
