Even now, with about 300,000 residential units sitting empty around the state, the push to build continues. Since 2007, local governments have approved zoning and other land use changes that would add 550,000 residential units and 1.4 billion square feet of commercial space, state figures show. Any new changes to a land use plan in your neighborhood will still be voted on by your local government, approved by the State and then voted on by the you the residents at the next election.
Amendment 4 will wreck the state of Florida. Think about it. A new development could be a new job center. Do you really think investors who want to bring jobs to a community will wait around for an election/approval from us to do so? No...they will go elsewhere and Florida will continue to suck wind. By the way...this is not a grassroots movement, it's paid for and led by a trial lawyer for crying out loud!

If one person can not take or control my property without violating my constitutional right, why can a group of men do it? We are a republic for a reason. There are many other options for controlling developers greed. Vote NO on tyranny.
