Sorry, but this is about the weakest performance of this song on You Tube. It is a lullaby for children and your sexually suggestive way of singing, spoils it. Further, it demonstrates your lack of range of voice in that you avoided the notes which would require you to project your voice. Singing a song like this in a "Brittney Spears" mannerism is off putting. I would love to hear you sing it again in a gentle voice demonstrating your range, in keeping the the audience is intended for children.

It was written in the style of a lullabye, with a circus/ music box influence due to the scenes that are in the film about a travelling show, and it may seem gothic, however, this is far from gothic. It is a lullabye in it's purest form. Although, the minor can make it seem gothic.

What's interesting actually is most of the popular children's stories we know, began as sensual renditions of very inappropriate stories that were sexually-charged for their time. Snow white, Sleeping beauty, etc...they were all originally written as quite provocative. It's all in the interpretation I guess. I study sexual diversity and we touch upon a lot of opinions of this sort. I would not have sung it this way for a child, of course.

good voice, but i agree with some others, the musical arrangement doesn't suit your voice. get a three piece jazz trio (drummer, bass player, piano or trumpet), and you'd be amazing
