it doesnt really matter, because when you turn it off, there isnt a circut for it to work, (everything that runs on electricity must have a complete circut to work) so taking out the batter is basically the same as turning it off, only more time consuming and annoying.

I'd have trouble getting this visibility myself using the same laser.

As long as the white wall is not reflective (ie normal painted white wall) you are safe.

It can give you a head ache if you stare too long though :)

I'd normally recommend the Viper because it has a thinner beam and is better for burning.

if you want to do light shows and stuff like that with amazing affects get the aurora gp 100mW because it is pulsed at 2000Hz which means its beam turns on and off 2000 times/sec i was trying to decide either to get the vipor 95mW or the aurora gp 100mW. i went for the vipor because it was 100$ cheaper. also you should get the vipor 95mW and the beam expander, that is a better value
