Yep; that was the inspiration to the city Silent Hill the film was set in. It's a fascinating, if not eerie place, and someday I would love to visit it.

It is, and although it can be creepy it's a very enjoyable game. One of the best in the SH series, in my honest opinion.

Sadly not; but if you google Centralia you might find that of interest. It is the town that basically set the standard for Silent Hill the movie. Trust me it's a fascinating place, and it's population has gone from over 1000 in 1981 to just a dozen in the space of two decades.

Aye, it's probably the best game they've released. I enjoyed 4, but a lot of it was spent walking around trying to solve silly puzzles rather than killing weird and plain unnerving creatures straight from the ether of nightmares.

I don't know how they're going to make a sequel to the film, though...

Well, the most problematic thing in Silent Hill 4 is that you actually can't kill the enemy. I mean, except those zombie dogs and twins, the victims are just annoying you all the time -.-

But still is a good one :) I liked the horror part of it :)

And Silent Hill 5...that's good too. But it's awful grafic issues.

Uhm...well, it's good. But it has some awful graphic issues which makes it unplayable. Like there's points in which it stucks for 2 minutes before it goes on, and a place where the floor screws up and it locks for 2 minutes each step. So it's basically awful.
