Beautiful video - but the music is a little bit disturbing and I feel your advices are more of a general kind, not especially for child photography.

Great speech but sorry i dont really like the pictures. I dont know maybe its about the composition. You choose 800 ISO with a flash and a lot light coming in, I would let the ISO at 100-200 and set the aperture down down down for more light coming in.

@CreateMotionMEDIA Yeah, but that ton of light coming in is going to be cut by the 1/200th shutter. So, then he has to make up for it in fill (flash), which is only effected by aperture (3.5 not so great even when there seems to be a lot of light) and ISO. He couldn't open up to get more ambient light with that fast shutter, so his only real option for that kind of fill light in that large a room was ISO.

@CreateMotionMEDIA and if he COULD open up, he may not have achieved the desired results because he may have wanted not to change that exact depth of field.

I like how your photographer was bouncing the flash for a fill effect and using natural light as the kicker to add highlights to the hair lines--really shows in the initial pictures of the kids. nice tip.
