Spinning on the Spindolyn

I LOVE my Spindolyns. I spin very fast and consistent yarn. I own several spindles and my Spindolyns get the most use. I spun some on the tahkli, but when I compared the yarn spun with the Spindolyn I can see a major difference in the two samples. I am spinning camel down.at the moment. The Spindolyn won hands down. I highly recommend them. I call them my lap wheel. Gonna order an extra base or two soon. Definitely a 10 on my scale.

I'm up to three Spindolyns now. I've got the Tenor, the Melody and the Mezzo. They're awesome. The new Orbia base is pretty cool too.

I got mine the other day and I love it! It only takes me a few hours to make a skien of yarn vs a whole day on my older drop spindle (^_^)

I received confirmation within a day, the spindolyn shipped in about 4-5 days. She puts them together herself but she notified me of when it would ship via email after I placed my order.

How long did it take for you to receive confirmation about your order and to actually receive the item?

The video is very well done. I purchased a Spindoyln and spare shaft so I could switch fibers as I'm working with both cotton and flax. I use the Spindolyn to spin flax tow as I spin my line flax on the drop spindle. When I get tired of doing the line flax I card some tow (card it just like wool) and spin some up and give my hands a break with the different movements.

I just got my spindolyn yesterday and I LOVE IT!! Not only is it beautifully made, but for the first time, I can use a spindle with ease... I have had elbow and wrist surgery and this spindle addresses all my needs!
