  • tHIs is wrong but is too heavy i think if you do with 30 its TOO nice... i do 85lbs on press but in flys i do just 22kg MAX

  • nice flies

  • not butterflies...you're bringing them into a press

  • these people commenting about the form on the flyes are the dudes that do them with 20s and will never get results because they put all the stress on their elbow joints and dont know how to properly work their chests.

  • maybe not perfectly done but still pretty strong with that weight xD

  • This shows strength, but I always thought flyes were supposed to be donw with lighter weights.

  • Don't bend ur arms dude...

  • of course you press at the end of the movement, other wise you arent working against any resistance..

Dont u guys know anything about basic mechanics?

  • @haxxxxxxzzzor i wonder if you now know how dumb this comment is hahaha, by your logic, if the arms were kept straight, there would be zero resistance therefore in that way....you could do 1000lb? YOUU know nothing about basic mechanics hehehehehe, i know this comment is old but its the funniest delusional comment ive ever seen

  • do them like arnie did, those where flys, plus u dont need to go that heavy with flys, probably 65 and do it like arnie, those arent good enough flys

  • respekt bra jobbat

  • its called press flies

  • Those arent flyes. your pressing at the end, because they are too heavy. lower the weight.

  • yeah, probably would have to go down a little to have right form. still fuckin' jacked dude...i couldn't hang

  • yh it is a mix.. your arms should be straight with a slight bend at the elbow so that your not locked, not bent completlet and pushing outwards and up. Too heavy for ya, you will get better gains from using less weight and correct technique.

  • @dotraw92 Well, idiot, this is a chest exercise. Having almost straight arms will stress bicep tendons way too much and that is not the goal of the exercise.

  • more like a mix of flyes and press.. not perfect done

  • The problem is the angle and the mobilphone camera.

  • thats not flyes

  • yes it is...

  • nice since i did flyes i got nasty stretch marks like near my armpits do u?

  • this is more pressing instead of flyes

  • it is like a mix between a dumbell press and a fly.

  • How about using proper form instead of maxing out

  • This is good proper form on little heavier weights.

  • the hell it is. this is shoulder injury pretty darn soon

  • I doubt that you've ever spoken to a more educated person on the subject than Arne Persson.

  • Ha ha! Sure! He has train this exercise in this styrle for years now.... no problem!

What are you training? Body pump.....?

  • Yeah, and my mind to use the English language properly. You should try it sometime.

  • Sorry I'm little better in Swedish...

  • damn, why are you guys giving him so much shit? why not just be like "yo bro that's some wack form dude. maybe not go down so far?"

  • If you want a strong and flexible muscle it's very important train full ROM.

  • i think the reason they think your form is bad is you move your arms in slightly on the way up

  • All of a sudden this stopped being a discussion about form and started being a spelling competition.

  • Maximum mobility in the internal rotators counteracts protracted shoulder girle, thus protecting it from serious dangers during pressing movment. Thus: good form! Combine mobile internal rotators with strong, durable external rotators and you are in for good shoulder health.

Arne knows this. But some commentors seem not to.

  • Some heavy shit ^^ Keep up the good work

  • hes going down wide, coming up wide, that wide arch up - perfect flys. no one unless urf retarded fly with straight arms! and jerin are u a physcian??? are u qualified to give out statments like that about the 'shoulder' joint??? thats bollocks!

  • ur idiots. this is good deep flys. u have to bend your arms!!! u half-witts, dont u know anythin, look at the way arni flys, or jay cutler, or dorian yates, or anyone whos anyone in bodybuilding

  • These are not flyes. More of a hybrid b/t flyes and a press. Too deep and those shoulders will tear. Best to lay on the floor.

  • nice dude, but not go too deep man, bad for the shoulder joints, just extend until your elbows are inline with your shoulders.

  • Type and search Arnold Schwarzenegger - Dumbell Fly. His technique is the way this guys doing it. It's not too deep and he won't hurt his shoulders either. I do it the same way wide and deep.

  • bending ur arms that much doesn't make them flys anymore

  • but then again what's "flys"?
