  • luv it super geil

  • So much love for the way he high fives the drummer.

  • I was lucky to see Crown of Thorns done live, but I would give up anything to be able to see this live.

  • I didn't realize that Chris Cornell was so tall. Someone told me that Eddie Vedder is about 6'1", so by this video Chris must be about 6'6" or 6"7"

  • @prettynoose8497 Actually Eddie is shorter than that, he is around 5'5-5'6. Chris is around 6'2.

  • pasan los años y este tema suena igual de bueno con estas voces prodigiosas..

  • i grew up in Seattle and watched these bands from club shows. All I ever wished was to see a surprise reunion of this song. Ive got like 9 PJ shows and

12 SG shows big and small under my belt and have never seen this. This is Holy.

  • andrew wood half ass monkey boy

  • Best of both worlds!

  • 3:43

    best part

  • AWESOOOOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE...

    these are TOTD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it would be very nice a world tour: Pearl Jam, SoundGarden, TOTD

    could you imagine? best dream!!!!!

  • @jesmilaz Add Alice in Chains and Mudhoney to that tour

  • @prettynoose8497 mudhoney!!!!!! WOW ...

  • @jesmilaz Heck yeah dude! Mark Arm coined the term "grunge". Touch me I'm sick- best song ever

  • Bloody amazing

  • 20 years today since the release of the album. We want a Temple of the dog tour!

  • BOW TO YOUR GODS

  • THIS IS AWESOME!!!

  • lol is chris a foot taller than eddie?

  • DAMNN

Mom should ve gave birth to me 15 years earlier......

  • Chris Cornell just blew my mind again. I wish they toured as Temple of the dog again. Hell, if they did Soundgarden, Pearl Jam and Temple of the dog, or even better did a Big four of grunge and took AIC along, I'd probably cry of happiness throughout the whole show.

  • @JendaHrbac That's what we need.

  • @JendaHrbac Don't forget the Foo Fighters

  • @grascons

Foo Fighters have nothing to do with it. It's a great band, but it's a whole different kind of music.

  • @JendaHrbac

Can't exactly do a Big four anymore....unless you add Mudhoney.

  • @JendaHrbac Think of Matt Cameron though. He'd have to drum for two sets in one night! The guy would have to have the stamina of a horse, unless Pearl Jam got another drummer, Dave Grohl anyone?

  • So awesome seeing them together! Brought back the best memories!

  • It must be so special for them to be up on that stage all together - nearly 20 earlier when they had recorded this, Ed was unknown, Chris and the others were mourning their best friend, and they were a bunch of young guys with raw emotion. Now, the song is an anthem for all of "us", and these men are Gods. This video is special...

  • Holy shit, he sounds GOOD.

  • Why does this video have 8 thumbs down? It shouldn't have any. That's bullshit. :)

  • I get a strange feeling... Eddie's voice is more deviated from original than Chris'.....

  • wish i was there, they need to do this shit on the east coast

  • EXCELLENT VERSION THAT great vocalist Chris Cornell

  • You know what I love about all the Grunge bands? They all seem to respect each other and show what great fans they are of each other. There doesn't seem to be the usual God Complex that so many other bands ( Metallica ) exhibit!!! Long live the Seattle sound!!

  • Try auto-tuning that BEEYOTCH

  • hearing Chris hit those high notes is amazing. He's back!

  • None of you have any clue how excited I'd be if I were at that show.

  • Seeing Soundgarden on Conan (thankfully saved in hd on my dvr) made me go looking for some more recent Chris Cornell vocals, because I couldn't believe my fuckin' ears. Chris sounds like he never smoked! He sounds excellent!!

I've never been happy that I live in Tacoma, but I am now! I'll be seeing Soundgarden soon (I hope).

  • man chris cornell is so obviously one of the best singers of all time, up there with steven tyler, roger daltry, robert plant, AMAZING voice, too bad he's so ugly : )

  • @somegirl60171 ....you are the FIRST girl i've EVER heard say that Chris Cornell is ugly!!!!.....my jaw literally dropped...I'm a very heterosexual man...and even i think he's a good lookin cat.....hehe....different strokes for different folks, i guess ;-)

  • @SheaBearden - I was kidding, I love Chris Cornell, he's fine

  • @somegirl60171 ...haha....i should've known ;-)

  • @somegirl60171

Chris Cornell is not only the Best Rock Vocalist ever... He's also the most beautiful! Are you blind?

  • Yeeeesh!! Eddie is tall enough as it is, look at how Cornell towers over everyone!

  • @Jaz553 Eddie is like 5'7", Chris is like 6'2"

  • @nervosuu ....I think you're an inch off.......when Chris was on Conan a while back....they stood right next to each other....and they're almost the same height....I looked it up the other day...Chris is 6'3''......Conan's right over him at 6'4'' :-)

  • love it I was one of the lucky ones to see this show thank you for posting

  • in my opinion chris has found his old voice again and this vid proves it. dont get me wrong he's never sounded bad but his young voice is so amazing, maybe its the hair.

  • chris is one tall dude

  • @iLikechevelle he just looks tall here...he's actually only 5'7

  • wow this is just last year! The TOTD fans must be so stoked.

  • the true embodiment of unassuming and non-synthetic rock were the grunge era.

this music still works, this music can still happen... this will delay the decadence caused by bieber, simple plan, katie perry and all those non-sense bullshit.

  • @lam2ang yea I'm all for bubblegum pop because it is harmless fun, but seems like for 10 years now there hasn't been a band close to this anymore. Or maybe they aren't played on mainstream radio. I am far from being an expert in rock music, but I can't imagine any rock artists close to the status that chris cornell has achieved. Chris Cornell's voice is back!!

  • 0:17 - 0:35 So awesome, that's what's best about these bands

  • wooooooooooow wonderfull just wonderfull

  • i pray this isant the last time this happens.

  • This is beyond amazing!!! I wish I was there!!!

  • gotdamn i didnt expect him to hit those old familiar high notes thats so awesome the man still gots it!

  • Awesome !!! That would have been very cool to be at. Thanks for posting this video. Just seeing this has made me decide to do a drum cover for my channel. Once again, thanks for posting this great vid.

  • I am so mad I have not seen Pearl Jam live, because they rarely come to where I live, and I can't afford to travel out to see them :(

And in this concert there was a Temple of the Dog reunion! AH!

  • I was at this!!

  • @Purpledreads

    jealous jealous jealous jealous

  • absolutely would have been a gem to be there =) tell ya what , Cornell and Vedder still got it, amazing performance!

  • This song is AMAZING! And they performed it amazing

  • man Chris is a huge dude!

  • @SlitMouthWoman Yea seriously...He towers over all of them onstage.

  • @strongsock...u a pure gay men....

  • 2 of the best singers...ever

  • this make me cry =(

    remember layne too

  • Chris Cornell Owned ! Fuckin' Awesome

  • @strongsock the fact that the thought of those two fags singing this amazing song came into your head is extremely upsetting and disturbing. I actually thought you were kidding until I read your other post.

  • I would love to see joe jonas and justin beiber do this song as a duet. that would rock

  • @strongsock your a total fucking faggot dude straight up i hope you die

  • @cwillis15 LLLOOOLLLLLL coming from some cunt that uploads videos of his video games with an eminem song slapped on them. Thats like being 600lbs and calling someone a fatass.

  • @strongsock

    fag.

  • @strongsock a fuckin joke dude?

  • Eddie Veder and Chris Cornell singing Hungerstrike. Well what can I say apart from you lucky bastard xD Such good vocalists, and you picked it up perfectly, so thanks for sharing ;-)

  • why they are screaming so much?

  • Chris Cornell you mother fucker

  • two of the best singers ever!

  • dude that's fucking amazing that you were filming at just hte right time at just the right show! You can buy this show from Pearl Jam's official website. They bootleg their own shows then sell them online. My parents bought a show they went too!

  • I just got chills from Cornell in the chorus...amazing

  • teared up a little during this

  • @nitronelson88 Same here. Brings back great memories

  • This song sounds so good with all these people singing it too.

  • Best shit ever.

  • Comment removed

  • Eddie & Chris on the same stage, how awesome. I wish I had been there!

  • Good job. Chris's vocals are impressive here. He kinda misses it at the end, but overall it's cool that he can still hit those notes. Eddie sounds great.

  • Viva la Temple of the Dog!!!

  • I think I would have pooped myself if I seen that show live...

  • chis has such a powerful voice.....amazing!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Not only did Cornell make a suprise performance, but I believe at this very same concert Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains came on stage to play the solo in "Alive"...

  • This song F***ing rocks! Chris and Eddie together. Awesome!

  • they both sound f***in gr8

  • All I can say is that I envy every person in that crowd.....magic performance!

  • Greatest, simply greatest!!!!!

    WOWOWOWOW

  • wow!

  • Wow amazing!!

    How tall is Chris?? ..

  • Very tall.

  • Sweet baby jeebus!

    AWESOME!!!!!

As soon as that riff started I got goose bumps

  • sometimes things work out just right.

  • Oh, and thank God for hand-held HD cameras!

  • Amazing

  • I wish the audience could shut up!!!!

  • dude... would u be quiet if u were in the adience?!

  • @kashovelings No, I would scream hysterically... haha!

  • @Ekyvvsaq i would probably do something silly and crack my head open.. it's seems so long since we've had mainstream artists with integrity

  • this is how the original was played, eddie had the majourity of vocals, it was his debut, and his first recording, cornell powered the backing vocals

  • this is awesome temple of the dog reunion

  • gnarley.

  • Matt Cameron will be busy this year.

  • Good Ideal :)

    that Eddie Vedder is smart

Inviting members of Soundgarden to watch while Chris is singing and Matt is drumming

Its like Soundgardens top secret reunion was about to take place :)

  • Chris really didn't get many lines in this song did he.. haha..

  • @cageboyes yeah but on that album he does all the other main vocals. this is the only joint vocal song between him and eddie

  • This is awesome. Thanks to the uploader for filming this for all of us who couldn't be there. Brilliant.

  • 12 years later the prodigal son finally comes home.

School is back in session, bitches!

  • Hey ev1 Soundgarden is back together!!!!!

  • We know, and we're all as excited as you are! This is awesome.

  • So great Seattle never gets this kind of greatness. We'll give it to another city. Thanks guys, thanks from the city that gave birth to you...

  • It was amazing to be there. I feel very lucky and it's something I will always remember.

  • fucking awesome!!

  • i agree with fizzle96.. the whole timaland thing is strange but i guess it is a creative phase that he needs to go through

  • there a way you can download it to your ipod???

  • wow, chris' vocals were fuckin top notch, i didnt know he could hit those notes again.

  • Chris, why didn't you come to Berlin with Pearl JAm this summer?????

  • why cant he have had chris there when PJ were in Austrailia?! JEALOUS!!

  • Pearl jam put such a kick ass show on that night

  • man......this must have been sweet to be there, hearing this live.after all these years!!

  • Chris Cornell and Matt Cameron on the same stage again!

this is what Chris should be doing, not the pathetic Scream/Timbaland bullshit he's got himself into.

  • I don't get was was so shit about what he did with Timbaland. The music was great, the lyrics were great, and Cornell was fantastic.

  • They're reuniting!!!

  • Alice in chains was metal, no doubt about it. They were just associated with it cause they were from Seattle and rose at the same time as Grunge. Trust me, I know, ima huge AIC fan. Soundgarden, Nirvana, and Pearl Jam are most definetely grunge due to theyre music style, influences, and trheir distorted guitars and angst-filled lyrics. I love the music to death, its the last "real wave of good" music. Its all just label mate.

  • I agree about AIC but I would say that Soundgarden was more metal than grunge.

  • cornell looks like such a stoner but this is my favorite song and pearl jam is my favorite band, i love this shit

  • epic....f'n epic

  • Great to see the members of Temple of The Dog reunite on stage, and it still sounds fresh today. Takes you back to the early '90's...when music was GOOD.
