i see that this red tail catfish lives in the wild and its whisker has split into 2 soo for all the people that say its split into 2 and it lives in an aquarium it obviousley isnt a deformation or a disease or the most common one the tank is to small so explain how this one is in a massive river/lake and it has also done it
OMG unbelivable i think if u sell such fish for aquarium it wil get double cost for its beauty rather then eating it cz its famous in fresh water aquarium this fish
@boostbeat haha thats funny. then why is brazilian a language? theres two variations to the language of portugeese and theres is called brazilian. im portugese and i wish there wasnt brazilian variatonns but hey shit happens
Yes, Otavio (the angler) released the fish after the photos. It´s a very strong specie of fish and this one returned very healthy to the river´s water.
This fish was released. We use circle hook to avoid the fish to swallow the bait and this fact helps us to release better the catfishes in our fishing trips. It ´s very unusual in the amazon to eat this specie of catfish (redtail catfish). Most of the time we eat peacockbass during such a trip. Just a few. Thanks for your comment. Ian.
what bait did you use if i may ask?
ArieBombali 2 months ago
@ArieBombali Hi! we use half of one Piranha. Sometimes we use an entire one alive. Thank you for asking. ian.
