Some of the difference is the pagan influences on Christianity. Christians tend to have less of a taboo about saying God. There is a popular hymn "I am a friend of God" where they sing about God being their friend like someone they drink beer with and watch football. Even so I found Mark's blaspheme kind of shocking. It is completely inappropriate to the situation (or to any situation). The LionInChains guy wanted people to help him stop blaspheming and Edge012 said wonderful.

"Supposed to" is a phrase that is used to show a situation that isn't, but should be in most cases. Ex. "I am supposed to be at the dentist at 2 o''clock."
