I also think when she sings in lower octives (see many tracks from Bedtime Stories) she sounds stronger too. but after Evita, she KILLED it on Ray of Light...her voice was stronger than ever and it showed and Ray of Light went on to be a critical and commercial SMASH for her! ^_^

I think people don't seem to understand that in order to be a singer you have to have what musicians call 'a musical ear'. This enables most singers to hear tones very strongly. Madonna, being a singer, and having studied and utilized her vocal training would be much more sensitive to sounds and accents. Living in England would most definately change her American accent.

Could be the fact that I speak three languages (English, Spanish, French and learning Italian and Japanese.
