  • The like/dislike bar looks like a lightsaber :P

  • I've seen thomas wood in person!!! He's an awesome performer.

  • sooo easy...

  • mmmmmmmm, easy

  • ubad

  • Mmmmmm over 20,000 views. Thank you! Just goes to show it doesnt matter how good the trick is, if you make a big deal about it people will believe you or at least pay attention long enough to be entertained. I appreciate the humor in this... but then again, I do get paid to be funny. *blows kisses* Love you. :)

  • WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WAITING FOR

    CLAP!

  • thats boston shuffle with a small cascade in between shuffles. easy, beginner stuff

  • THATS VERY EASY :)

  • That's not even close to impossible actually...

  • so say its some for some reason utterly incrediblly difficult trick. its not that much more impressive compared to other 3 ball tricks so i dont understand why you waste your time on it.

  • what was he juggling that made it so good?????

  • joke, I do it without any probs

  • I think people are missing something. you have a nice stage personality that gets things accomplished for you, but you technically are not the best juggler, no offense. but that doesnt really matter. there are a million hard tricks out there but an audience might not relate to them. just do what you do well and stick with it. god knows there are plenty of boring technical jugglers thanks to garfield, we dont need anymore.

  • @SamMalcolmFireDancer : I love you. You get it. ^_^

  • well that took all of 5 minutes to figure out

  • what did he say!? X_x

  • Hey Dreamie, I just caught you guys in Corona. He is awesome and no one should judge until they see him for themselves. Thomas ROCKS!!!!!

  • isnt that just a combo of mills mess and take outs ? doesnt seem that hard, make another one that clearer and it might look different, but that wasnt impossible. no were near.

  • its the next chris bliss!

  • I will commend your juggling expertise when you do pull it off correctly. After all, it will take a lot of skill to juggle while your panties are in such a tight twist. Mazel tov.

The trick really seems to work better when you're not a complete dick about it.

  • @Dreamie09 hahahahaha was youtubeing comedy stuff to find something to brighten up a really shitty day..well your comment did it :D..just awesome..ah and the juggling is also not bad (jk gj^^)

  • @Medicvh : And that, dear Medicvh, is why we entertain. FOR YOU. I dont care how great your juggling may be. RARELY does a pro-juggler perform for other jugglers. Many lose sight of that, or maybe never realized it in the first place. For a common audience, they want some flash and a lot of comedy. An "Oooo & aww" factor only lasts for up to 5 minutes. If you make it into a numbers game they will, without fail, ask "What else ya got?" Laughter is far more powerful than an unappreciated pattern.

  • nowhere near impossible

  • wow.

    that sucked

  • The count is now up to 2 people that have pulled it off. Many kudos to rocketair3! He went back and worked on it and can now pull it off. Awesome!

  • what he said was funny ( i dont know why)

  • This is all taken out of context. In the show it has quite a build up.

The trick is just flashed here, but despite the fact that it does not look that hard, in 20 years of searching only 1 other juggler has ever been able to pull off that particular trick.

    Give it a shot.

Also if you want to know why it's funny, go see the guy's show.

  • Is this a joke???

  • Oh, by the way, bravo to those that posted a video comment. Even the ones that got it wrong, I admire the effort more than those that just talk. Talk is cheap. That, and maybe this will get a couple of people to leave the computer and actually do some juggling.

  • To All those who are taking this as an opportunity to spread venom:

So far out of 20 years of me doing this, and 9348 view there is 1 count them 1 person that responded actually able to do it passably. Please if you can pull it off post it. If not, put up or shut up.

The reason I don't name names of famous ones that have tried by the way is to protect their reputations.

Most of all, HAVE FUN WITH IT!!!! Don't get your fevered egos in a bunch over it. Take the challenge, don't just talk.

  • anything but impossible.

  • im sure that you could get better 5-second clips from the 3-ball freestyle videos here on youtube. check out the user pumpkineater23 for example, or search youtube for falco scheffler.

  • not bad, not great, certianly expressable by mathematics. what i cant get over is "COME'ON!! CLAP!!" did you ever hear a comedian DEMAND laughter or an actor say "FEEL EMOTION YOU B*****DS!" - now that kind of behavour defies belief!

  • I'm guessing that if you saw the whole routine it would make sense. I haven't seen his routine, but I've seen other juggling routines where, for comedic purposes, the juggler will systematically tell the audience when to clap. It's a good gimmick.

I did see one guy perform at Venice beach where he was actually getting pissed off at the audience for genuinely not appreciating him. Why the hell was he even performing anyway? That guy was an asshole, but that's another story.

  • You are correct, there is a lot of setup to this trick which includes demonstrating a bunch of simple tricks, then doing them "all at the same time." Thus the "Under over through cross" statement. He's been doing this 20 years. A lot of people have talked "smack" but no one could actually do the trick. Even some famous jugglers. If someone else can do this trick, please post it. And Bravo to you.

  • I think this is the second basic trick after the 3 balls cascade. I guess nobody posts it because nobody bothers about it. Neither me.

  • Thomas's show is designed to break the audience out from behind the "4th wall" also known as "watching TV". This means getting the audience to react appropriately when something cool happens. It's all very funny and endearing. He's one of the very nicest and beloved pro jugglers you'll ever meet.

  • the siteswap is just 333. or if you really wanted to add in some 2's for the hold and then switch into a synch pattern for the shuffle I could work that out too. 33(6x,1x)(4,2x)(4x,1x)3 would do I think.

  • wth, i can't do tht but looks quite easy tbh

  • What is impossible in this trick?

  • reminds me of the randomness i do. where you do only 1 beat of 1 patterns before morphing it into another pattern for a beat or 2 before changing it again.

  • not really difficult...

  • cmon guys!! he got skills!!!!

  • Disagree.

  • come on..it's not an impossible pattern..

  • Obviously it's not completely impossible, seeing as he's doing it. However, he has never seen anyone else do it before. Try it.

  • looks a bit like the mess (mills mess) :)

  • what pattern is that? looks like its got chops and a shuffley bit in there..

  • From Thomas: The impossible pattern is part chops, part slam, and a shuffle.
