OH, that just brings it all back. High school, the seventies. My good friend Brian Divine had this song rattling the bolts off of his Ford pickup. Devastating Rock Song!
@SIERRAHPBT maybe so...but the collaborative guiter work near the tail end of gypsy queen...is second to none. Side note: I believe April Wine originated the sound of what can be called 'whailing heavy metal guitar rifs.
Unbelievable how great this band is. Had the privilege of seeing them live last week. AMAZING show. Myles has to be one of the most talented frontman in the business.
These guys were my first concert - front row, center stage, and I had back stage passes. The Flint IMA. They played with Nazarath (not as good). Played guitar with Myles Goodwin - these guys ROCK!!!!!!!!
i cant believe more people dont know this song i had a chance to see them in salina ks. an fucking missed it APRIL wine rocks livin the lowlife in ks later ROACH
WOW! I love this song and have waited a long time to hear it again! A dark song from a great band who is not known for writing dark material. ROCK ON!

Haven't heard this since the mid 80's.
It still sounds great even with all the music I've
tuned into since then. One of my favorite live acts.
No one beats Jerry Mercer on drums.

I totally agree with rubicon1983 ! I also love " wanted dead or alive " by Bon Jovi. They are similar, in some ways, but what a hell of songs !

One of those April Wine deep tracks that can polish the floor with 99% of the shit called 'music' out there today.

Monster song, and the passage from 3.50 to the fadeout should be one of the most well-known in rock if there was any justice in this world!

My guess is Bon Jovi and Sambora love this song.
Precursor to "Wanted Dead or Alive".
April Wine's finest moment.
Hell of a post-thx.
