i rather just finish off red and the 2 minions with red and get lvl 2 then gank.. grabbing half of the red and finish blue is stupid because lvl2 gank with blue for shaco doesnt do much and your red doesnt respawn at 7mins.. blue isnt nessacary for ganking at lvl 2..
@theholyspirit1994 It doesnt matter, becuz if u read the deceive text, the crit will apply the 6 seconds after you use it, so even if u deceive get out of stealth after 3.5 you still have 2.5 for crit. Or if u deceive and knife and hit within the next 6 seconds you still get crit.
@grooovybum Part 1:Nope.Tryn is totally not op, just pubstomper. he is extremly squishy for solo top and can be zooned out of the minion exp and gold range so he cant sustain anymore with his Q. Vayne yeah, she is a bit stronger right now, she is one of the few ad carries that have hard CC and her true dmg is nice, but her early is kinda terrible...
@grooovybum Part 2: for rammus merc treads/qss/cleanse makes him k, his taunt may be a little bit annoying for ad carries combined with E and thornmail but cleanse works... for mumu there are anti initiate supports-janna/alistar and if his ble is taken he literally cant jungle...

I'm on the Taiwanese servers where we can see win rates for individual champions. Shaco has been having a 60% win rate for the past month. I think he is too strong going top at 2:15.
This method IS possible but inconsistent, even with practiced placement. The random factor is whether the lower minions will aggro the boxes while being feared, and whether they get bugged and just sit there. If all three creeps attack one box, it may die and there will not be enough damage. If one box aggros one creep, the DOT will not be enough. The only surefire way is to plant 5 - just get boots - and you'll be there with maybe 1 less second than with this method. Thanks for the video!
btw i suggest to put 1 more box at red, if u start fast u usually can place one more and stil get to blue in time. especially if u start with boots for a 400 movementspeed level 2 doublebuff invisible firstblood gank :D
you dont need ap quints to do this. AP quints rather than flat dmg quints will only make ur ganks less powerful. If you go to red as fast a possible and stack 5 boxes you will be able to kill red lizard. by the time u stack all 5 you should have 5 secs to run to blue. I rather be able to gank with more power than use ap quints just so i can finish blue 3 secs faster.
I tried testing this extensively last night. For whatever reason I could never get it to work with 4 boxes and AP quints. However, I did manage to get it with 5 boxes and no quints. If you pick up boots at the start then you don't lose much time. I also found that I had to put the boxes between the yellow flower and the leaf, rather than to the left of the leaf like you do, or else they'll attack another creep.
The only problem with shaco it's if the enemy team invade red and remove the 4x Boxes while you are at blue. They ruined your jungle and ruining a shaco's jungle = gg.
I say its just the same case of early ganks as lee sin and nocture lee is banned because of this still. Noc doesnt get banned much even if at all. Thats just my out look on things though.
i just got owned by jungle shaco while junlging as volibear... at lv2 he just set up boxes by the wraith camp bush , and 1st blooded me as i walked in. Then i lost my blue buff and never got a chance to catch up .... all the neutral minions in my jungle were gone... i could never close the gap again, it just placed my team in a 4vs5 situation since then... gg
I have no idea why but i cant do this! i get +14 ap quints (its +14 not +15 cause i got em for halloween, but i still get +3 dmg on boxes). all 4 boxes attack the lizard and when the boxes die it still has like 10% hp left! i go 21/0/9 without dmg to minions mastery. so sad i cant do it :(
@SHOCKERownerR Check out my recent video, its a different build, but it works everytime. If you start with boots instead of cloth armor, you're able to get 5 boxes (the way I do it) at blue and 1 at red. But 1 is more than enough for red, because you still have smite. Etc :)

Dude, this makes games with jungle-Shaco so much more interesting because of the many opportunities! Double Buff, Solo-Dragon, Buff-Steal, Counter-jungling (also from enemies)...
it's certainly not an ideal situation, but unless he's "ruining" games because of this it's not that big of a deal, and if you know about it you can easily disrupt it. Other jungler hides in brush and smites the red when low.
Shaco is nowhere near useless in team fights... He might not be amazing, but with a good Shaco player you'll get a lot of ganks early game and counter jungle extremely hard putting their jungler behind your team so they're weaker late game.
If Shaco gets to snowball by mid game then doesn't matter how poor the champions mechanics are in team fights, he'll be 2 shotting everything.
Don't forget he's got one of best steroids ingame aswell with his ulti...

You DO NOT NEED AP QUINS. I just stack 5x traps easly at red lizzard and get up to blue golem at around 1:55-58 and get our mid to leash it since i start with boots so i gank faster - sure thing he lose 1-3 minjons but he catch that up easly. Then i gank mostly mid but i also check the other lanes if its any higher sucessfully ganks possible to get there. Hit the thumbs up if you agree (Y)

Shaco can also take dragon at level 1 as well currently, either solo, or if he has one person there to heal he can jungle immediately afterwards.
He's definitely pretty strong right now. I don't know how they could fix that without over-nerfing him though, because it's really just the early jungle that is a problem with him...
imo...no i don't think so...although it allows you to get double buffs very quickly and efficiently, one of shaco's downsides is that he scales off hard late game and the lack of a great; I won't be surprised if i see some jungle changes though. I completely agree with the statement that shaco is VERY good 1-6 in the jungle, proper CVs and invasions can also hurt shaco while he tries to gank top/mid/bottom; A failure gank w/ new jungle basically cripples the jungler's xp.
i just start with long sword 1 pot then i clear wolves and blue before top even gets a creep. then if its unsuccessful i take the enemy mini golems and then i gank that lane again because they have to pop flash in order to escape from the previous gank
@Zenodudeify No I didnt have any of that just flat ap runes and it worked fine. The real trick is to get them stacked correctly. That just takes practice.
@SasukeyoUchiha Just tried it, won't work with AP quints. Keep your normal runes, just stack 5 boxes on red and have someone leash your blue when you get to it. You'll be able to place 1 box at blue before he spawns. blue cd reduction has no effect
@TheEvilestElf didnt use any runes i bought an amp tome with 20 ap and then try to practie in coustom game, but the boxes aggro the lizard first and then an small creep for no reason no matter where i place them!

I play Jungle Tank Shaco for the first time in a long while the other day and went 14/0/14. I'm most definitely going to try this my next match, it seems insane to get the buffs that fast.
Shaco is definately too strong at the moment. Boxes should have a weaker level 1 damage output but maybe scale to what they would be instead. Also, lower his hp per level back to what it was like 3 patches ago.
Shaco is insane atm destroying the early game and the enemy jungle. Before 5 minutes mark shaco can gank twice bot lane and each time get at least 1 kill easily in the bot lane (i've been there)
Shaco does recieve the XP from the large lizard as of the jungle hotfix, as the hotfix notes stated: XP range reduced to 400 from 800 (Killer always recieves XP) making him one of the few Level 2 gankers still around, as they tried to remove that aspect.
i wouldnt say hes op but he def is one of the better champs for jungling i play him a lot. in fact i was just playing a ranked game with shaco as a jungler and i went 11/1/7
There is a better way to do this. You can place 5 boxes at lizard, no AP quints needed. Then go to wolf camp and kill wolves, then move on to golem, in that way you get lvl 3 in about 2 min and 30 sec, however you need a XP quint or a zilean on the team.
9 of the ten Shaco's these days dont know how to play him and are NOT counterjungling whatsoever.
Yesterday I played Udyr jungle vs Shaco jungle, I was lvl 5 and their Shaco was lvl 3 ( And they had a Zilean on their team.. so go figure.. ) These are the common Shaco's these days , not knowing how to play him properly
If you had done this properly and gotten 1 EXP quint, you would have been able to do wolves before blue and hit lvl 3 after doing blue with double buffs
I dont think he's OP. I've played him ofc and I've encountered a few really great shacos in the past, but still I think he's kinda easy to deal with after you get used to it. Also I think he should some kind of an advantage in the jungle since that's the only thing he can do on this map - jungle. A big part of other junglers can lane successfully, while he most certainly can't. There's also a reason he's not that good of a pick in arranged team matches. Let's just say he's too op and nerf him...
If you are facing a blue dependant jungler like amumu you can start boots 3 pots, and steal their red, and take your own blue, so you dont lose out on the respawn of your red, and you will be able to lvl 2 gank top or mid at 2:30
I've always found Shaco to be a solid champ everywhere, and his abilities just feel more useful and versatile than most other champions.That being said, I don't think he's overpowered, but he definitely can be such an early aggressive champion that a lot of players will take a clear advantage on that. He'll never be able to dragon at level 4 like Warwick though :P.
hes no doudt the strongest jungler right now and since there arent any must bans except kassa atm I tend to ban him cuze him counterjungling can really fuck up ur day if u are trying to jungle urself
I hate Shaco really. I hate playing against him and I hate having him in my team. When I play ranked and I see a shaco pick I will counter with jungle Blitz and just waltz into the enemy jungle to find his damn boxes and screw him over. If he does not have flash I can just grab him for easy FB for my team.
He might be a good pick vs bad lvl 1 teams, but if the enemy has Taric at least, get ready to get your jungle screwed cause you cant fight back -.-
I don 't know what it is with shaco lately, but everytime I play, even with some 1.7k ELO friends our jungle and mid/bot lane get crushed. Yesterday I even saw my LeBlanc getting instagibbed by ONE jitb while shaco (50 AP) wasn 't there... RLY? Overall there 's even a better route posted on TSM that has you take 1 exp quint so you can clear red, wolves, blue without taking dmg and getting to lvl 3, which is 100% death to mid. FYI don 't use your two shiv right away, use the passive on itthen use
could you set it up to do HIS red buff and your blue at the same time? that would be SO good, you should test it out, i think it would be possible, just need a bit more time to do blue
@LoneWolfz87 It is also possible to do the enemies red buff and go to your own blue. This is actually superior as you deny the enemy the red buff and leave the 2 minions behind for later respawn of red. On the other hand you miss the opportunity to counter gank him at red. You can still do it, but he won't be that low on health. And you need your team to invade his jungle at the start of the game. You might get caught otherwise. Still... I like stealing enemies red with my boxes :)
that route only works if someone kills your small lizards when u get red buff then enemy can farm faster than shaco even if he counter jungles, champs like udyr gp and lee would rape shaco :P imo he got raped by the respawn and xp time cause before u could gank as lvl 3 wtih red buff vs lvl 1 mid or top :S

You can also use surge. Surge is still a pretty nice spell for ganking. Also, i had no problem putting the boxes right in the middle behind the fire.

c) activates pot very late

Shaco is nowhere near useless in team fights... He might not be amazing, but with a good Shaco player you'll get a lot of ganks early game and counter jungle extremely hard putting their jungler behind your team so they're weaker late game.
If Shaco gets to snowball by mid game then doesn't matter how poor the champions mechanics are in team fights, he'll be 2 shotting everything.
Don't forget he's got one of best steroids ingame aswell with his ulti...

You DO NOT NEED AP QUINS. I just stack 5x traps easly at red lizzard and get up to blue golem at around 1:55-58 and get our mid to leash it since i start with boots so i gank faster - sure thing he lose 1-3 minjons but he catch that up easly. Then i gank mostly mid but i also check the other lanes if its any higher sucessfully ganks possible to get there. Hit the thumbs up if you agree (Y)

Shaco can also take dragon at level 1 as well currently, either solo, or if he has one person there to heal he can jungle immediately afterwards.
He's definitely pretty strong right now. I don't know how they could fix that without over-nerfing him though, because it's really just the early jungle that is a problem with him...

imo...no i don't think so...although it allows you to get double buffs very quickly and efficiently, one of shaco's downsides is that he scales off hard late game and the lack of a great; I won't be surprised if i see some jungle changes though. I completely agree with the statement that shaco is VERY good 1-6 in the jungle, proper CVs and invasions can also hurt shaco while he tries to gank top/mid/bottom; A failure gank w/ new jungle basically cripples the jungler's xp.

i just start with long sword 1 pot then i clear wolves and blue before top even gets a creep. then if its unsuccessful i take the enemy mini golems and then i gank that lane again because they have to pop flash in order to escape from the previous gank

@SasukeyoUchiha Just tried it, won't work with AP quints. Keep your normal runes, just stack 5 boxes on red and have someone leash your blue when you get to it. You'll be able to place 1 box at blue before he spawns. blue cd reduction has no effect

I play Jungle Tank Shaco for the first time in a long while the other day and went 14/0/14. I'm most definitely going to try this my next match, it seems insane to get the buffs that fast.

Shaco is definately too strong at the moment. Boxes should have a weaker level 1 damage output but maybe scale to what they would be instead. Also, lower his hp per level back to what it was like 3 patches ago.

Shaco is insane atm destroying the early game and the enemy jungle. Before 5 minutes mark shaco can gank twice bot lane and each time get at least 1 kill easily in the bot lane (i've been there)

Shaco does recieve the XP from the large lizard as of the jungle hotfix, as the hotfix notes stated: XP range reduced to 400 from 800 (Killer always recieves XP) making him one of the few Level 2 gankers still around, as they tried to remove that aspect.

There is a better way to do this. You can place 5 boxes at lizard, no AP quints needed. Then go to wolf camp and kill wolves, then move on to golem, in that way you get lvl 3 in about 2 min and 30 sec, however you need a XP quint or a zilean on the team.

9 of the ten Shaco's these days dont know how to play him and are NOT counterjungling whatsoever.
Yesterday I played Udyr jungle vs Shaco jungle, I was lvl 5 and their Shaco was lvl 3 ( And they had a Zilean on their team.. so go figure.. ) These are the common Shaco's these days , not knowing how to play him properly

I dont think he's OP. I've played him ofc and I've encountered a few really great shacos in the past, but still I think he's kinda easy to deal with after you get used to it. Also I think he should some kind of an advantage in the jungle since that's the only thing he can do on this map - jungle. A big part of other junglers can lane successfully, while he most certainly can't. There's also a reason he's not that good of a pick in arranged team matches. Let's just say he's too op and nerf him...

If you are facing a blue dependant jungler like amumu you can start boots 3 pots, and steal their red, and take your own blue, so you dont lose out on the respawn of your red, and you will be able to lvl 2 gank top or mid at 2:30

I've always found Shaco to be a solid champ everywhere, and his abilities just feel more useful and versatile than most other champions.That being said, I don't think he's overpowered, but he definitely can be such an early aggressive champion that a lot of players will take a clear advantage on that. He'll never be able to dragon at level 4 like Warwick though :P.

I hate Shaco really. I hate playing against him and I hate having him in my team. When I play ranked and I see a shaco pick I will counter with jungle Blitz and just waltz into the enemy jungle to find his damn boxes and screw him over. If he does not have flash I can just grab him for easy FB for my team.
He might be a good pick vs bad lvl 1 teams, but if the enemy has Taric at least, get ready to get your jungle screwed cause you cant fight back -.-

I don 't know what it is with shaco lately, but everytime I play, even with some 1.7k ELO friends our jungle and mid/bot lane get crushed. Yesterday I even saw my LeBlanc getting instagibbed by ONE jitb while shaco (50 AP) wasn 't there... RLY? Overall there 's even a better route posted on TSM that has you take 1 exp quint so you can clear red, wolves, blue without taking dmg and getting to lvl 3, which is 100% death to mid. FYI don 't use your two shiv right away, use the passive on itthen use

@LoneWolfz87 It is also possible to do the enemies red buff and go to your own blue. This is actually superior as you deny the enemy the red buff and leave the 2 minions behind for later respawn of red. On the other hand you miss the opportunity to counter gank him at red. You can still do it, but he won't be that low on health. And you need your team to invade his jungle at the start of the game. You might get caught otherwise. Still... I like stealing enemies red with my boxes :)

that route only works if someone kills your small lizards when u get red buff then enemy can farm faster than shaco even if he counter jungles, champs like udyr gp and lee would rape shaco :P imo he got raped by the respawn and xp time cause before u could gank as lvl 3 wtih red buff vs lvl 1 mid or top :S
