  • @drjhulkster Did you know before Foghat he was in Savoy Brown?

  • how amazing it would have been to have seen this live...but I am so thankful for video recording!!

  • what a smokin lineup

  • It's interesting that I've always felt Rod Price was the baddest slide player I've ever seen, and he's up there with the greatest blues musicians of all time, including Johnny Winter, who's no slouch on the slide. Nice video! Thanks for sharing...

  • Holy. This is God NEEDING to be human. Best show up as an uploader for the truth.

  • I'm not going to share this on my Woodstock Nation Page if you don't let me put the vid there. I want to be able to do segues. Let me know if you change your mind. I don't get it, anyway. It's not any less secure on fb than it is here.

  • Also featuring Lonsome Dave Peverett, from Savoy Brown and Foghat.

  • Foghat with Muddy ?@@!!! Great thanks for posting this.

  • Muddy Waters, Jonny Winter, and a lot of guys wearing shinny polyester shirts and big hair that was popular in the 70's, but does anyone look like a cooler blues man than John Lee Hooker?

  • Was this the last time that John Lee Hooker was on a stage with a blues legend as big or bigger than he?

  • This music and human education is the only solution for all problems...

  • if i was on stage with them, would be afraid to play...

  • They really captured the essence of the original here :D This perhaps the best live Muddy I've heard. Dark, stirring. Great to see him and JLH enjoying eachother.

  • They really captured the essence of the original here :D

  • Muddy Waters invented electricity

  • @chrasywolf Thats a great quote right out of a all time great movie Cross Roads got to love it thanks.

  • where do this kind of jams happen and why aren't I there when it does??

  • And Foghat. Foghat start this Show, I have the DVD

  • @txpablofry Could you tell me the name and other information so I can try to purchase the DVD? Thanks!

  • @rick4adk The name is: Foghat & Guests Blues Tribute (1978), this DVD isn't official, i don't know if is for sale, I downloaded this DVD.

Sorry for my english, i speak spanish.

  • @rick4adk why u want to purchaseit/ just burn the video here

, if u dont want to be a slave like the song said

  • Johnny and Edgar Winters were 2 of the nastiest men I ever saw,. anybody the albinos brothers, damn, am I that old.

  • Not basing this on this incredible line-up, but after hearing the "Electric Mud" version of this, I cannot even listen to this typical Muddy version any longer. None of the other songs on that 1968 album replace their original for me except this. "I Just Wanna Make Love To You" should be loud, faster, and have way more electric guitars.

  • Wow!!

  • Magical! The greatest bluesmen on stage, what else can be said?

  • Thank you gentlemen

  • In the beginning it's a little bit confused. You can see that Muddy is feeling that not everybody in the band knows the song.

  • This is about as rare as it gets, Hooker, Muddy, Honeyboy, Willi Dixon, Winter and Foghat all sharing the same stage. Amazing.

  • Foghat thrown in just for good measure!

  • FRICKN AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Holy Crap !!!! A moment in time .... Thanks for the inventor of the camera and film ...

  • OMG the way John Lee apears on the stage =)))) epic genious :X

  • EPIC...

  • Saw Muddy at a crossroads bar in Maryland in 1975. Hypnotic performer!

  • Muddy was and always will be "The Man"

  • whenever you see the words "Place commercial here" you know it came from a legitimate source :)

  • god's all togetter on stage !

  • MMmmmm! MMMMMMmmmmmm! MMMMMmmmmmmmmmm!

  • Amazing !!

  • Did they do 'Fool for the City' after this ....... erm just joking !!!!

  • @Noiseresearch I bet Waters wouldn't have been too fussed if they did, it's not like he was playing blues rock for artistic pursuits - it's what them white kids wanted to hear

  • Video is not syncronized very well with the audio...Other than this, it's interesting.

  • fimed somewhere at the crossroad between heaven and hell . midnight , year one .

  • any particulars on where this footage came from? The commentary by Lonesome Dave makes it sound like a documentary. British maybe?

  • And Foghat. Interesting.

  • All-Star cast.

  • just priceless seeing all these guys singing and playing together.

  • @richventures thats right!!!

  • slap it on some toast for breakfast, this is sweet

  • and Luther Johnson Jr !

  • SWEET jam. Muddy, John Lee, Johnny, and Foghat. SERIOUSLY Sweet! Thanks!!

  • Do you have the song Last Night performed by Johnny Winter on this same concert video?
