does that mixture burn the leaves because i mixed some soap with some water and it burned some of the leaves. i just got some neem today and i wanted to spray the plant again. u think it will harm the leaves even more with the neem?
Fucking insects and molds and stuff are a proper pain in the arse, you only learn that the hard way lol. So yeah when you said prevention is the key i was like FUCK YEAH ,
if u are feeding plants from top ie pouring water/feed on top any beasties lay egggs in top half inch of soil so better to dunk ur plants/pots in basin so feeding is done from bottom thats where the roots are so feed better or use drip feed placed in below the top half inch keep top dry half inch of soil dry that way no beasties can hatch m8 roll up or roll on
@TheSpikec1.. Clonex and Superthrive... Keep them misted 3 times daily the first 3 days and there should be little to no wilting, even in rockwool. Then once a day after that until they bust roots. I usually clone from the top despite what people say about bottom clones being the best place to clone from.
What's up brotha lookin good over there. And yes as u said u can OD on neem. 1/2 tsp per liter and I use sm90 or saturator 2 mix that neem! but dish soap def. Works! Are you checking out some critical sensi star seeds from delicious seeds?
do u also use the neem oil on ur outdoor plants as well (when the time comes that u have outdoor plants again) if not,how do u prevent insects outside?
If you get gnate in your soilyou can kill there larva I think is what you call the babys in the soil. The larva look like a clear small catpiller with a black head. To kill the babys put some slices or raw potatos on top of your soil they will come to eat the potato if you look at the potato you will see the larva and you may see other bugs also afer a few days replace the potatos with new and trash the others put them in a trash bag and tie it up or they will make gnate if they live then spray
@guta2345 That's not enough. Sooner or later you're going to have an issue with insects. You 'mite' as well get a prevention schedule going. Do you even have any plants right now? In another post you're asking someone if you should plant 10 seeds in one pot... no, you shouldn't. I would only do that with clones and only if i had to
I also found that giving everything a good once over before flowering helps prevent issues. i have had little issues in my set up and plan to keep it that way.
if you are trying to prevent spider-mites? or help prevent them.. try using peppermint soap with your neem oil. it sounds crazy but give it a try. Peace
@guta2345 You have to use soap. I have used bi degradable soap from Gander Mountain. Its soap for going camping and dosent make a sudzy mess. But you need to use it with neem oil and water.
i personally hate neem oil. its ruined every plant ive ever applied it on. ever.

dont use dishsoap man,
use Saturator by dutch master
or
use Wet Betty by Advanced nutrients
one of those with your neem oil spray before lights go off is perfect.
