I had entered the U.S. legally but because of my father’s legal status, who didn't even apply for 245i law in the past 12 years ago (back then I knew he was qualified) in order to follow the righteous legal way, meanwhile other undocumented immigrants’ get? Benefit of it through their kids even if those kids weren’t entering their age under 16, and confess their age were below 16 because there’s no proof about it.
They are practically nothing different than below 16 in sort of under parental dependency. Think about it, what they? Could do when their entire family moving toward another country & other place? Just change yourself to the situation of them. They have no way at all. Age limit is totally meaningless, ridiculous and notion-less.

1) Dream act doesnt grant instant citizenship, it gives a 5 yr temp greencard (which later can be changed into a perm green card) for immigrant students who came to us prior to their 16th b-day, graduated US high school, then they have to finish atleast 2 years of college or military service. The dream act does not AUTOMATICALLY grant citizenship to undocumented students. It gives them the chance to prove themselves, and if qualified, they may apply for residence. As far as financial help, bipartisan agreements has declared that only private and others may be destined to these individuals.

The DREAM ACT will allow these people to get an education (not for free) and then they will be able to have jobs AND pay taxes along with every other American.

Immigrant student are not able to apply for these or any other kinds of financial aid. You also have to realize that no professor will dare fail or deny entry into a program to these illegal students. Dozens of "Latino Studies" programs will likely pop up to hand out worthless degrees.
Remember, no one is giving them anything free, they'll have to work their asses (excuse my language) off! They have to pass a six year "probation" period before they are even granted a legal residency (not a citizenship) and THEN wait more years to try to apply for citizenship. So there is no "automatic citizenship".
Also, you should realize that a good number of these kids want to join the Army/Navy/etc because they LOVE this country, they might not have been born here, but they grew up here, loving this sacred American soil.

Let's take a look at my case. I had entered the U.S. legally but because of my father’s legal status, who didn't even apply for 245i law in the past 12 years ago (back then I knew he was qualified) in order to follow the righteous legal way, meanwhile other undocumented immigrants’ get? Benefit of it through their kids even if those kids weren’t entering their age under 16, and confess their age were below 16 because there’s no proof about it.

I came here U.S. in 2001, with H4 visa status under my father’s regard of H1B? - He was the Marine Engineer At that time I was 18, and so I had enrolled in public high school as Junior(supposed to be senior but only because of the reason language enhancement). I graduated from year 2003. My status got expired year 2004 when my father’s sponsor kicked out my father for his stupid financial reason. He was a damn ill-responsible person I have ever seen In my entire life.

Okay first off:
1) Dream act doesnt grant instant citizenship, it gives a 5 yr temp greencard (which later can be changed into a perm green card) for immigrant students who came to us prior to their 16th b-day, graduated US high school, then they have to finish atleast 2 years of college or military service. Also it allows them to pay instate tuition in the state they live in (and only there), it barres them from federal aid

If what you said is true, i feel for you kid, because no child should ever be negated an opportunity to educate themselves, that is just plain wrong. The DREAM Act doesn't give anything it rewards child who have demonstrated an unkindly ability to overcome adversity. One of the provisions is that the person graduates from high school, and then they pursue a 2 years of college education or military service, all of this needs to be completed before they obtain residence.

The Dream Act would be ILLEGAL,
for already-existing federal law says it's a felony CRIME to aid or abet, or to encourage or harbor, illegal aliens.

You are lying because if you make less than 20k, you can apply for financial aid, at least in the state of california. Now, the real catch here is the ignorance and rumors created. The dream act does not AUTOMATICALLY grant citizenship to undocumented students. It gives them the chance to prove themselves, and if qualified, they may apply for residence. As far as financial help, bipartisan agreements has declared that only private and others may be destined to these individuals.

The dream act would not give automatic citizenship, students have to go through a series of requirements like school and good behavior, and even if they qualify for this dream act they would not be able to receive financial aid until six years after they have been accepted. by that time they would most likely not be in college anymore because in order to qualify for this dream act they already have to have two years. I dont know where she got the free stuff? do your research!

It says that children who were brought into the US can not be held accountable for their parents mistake.

You are referring to a very controverted class action lawsuit from 1981 which was filed on behalf of ILLEGAL mexican immigrants from Texas, hardly what I would call a relevant decision for this discussion. Even taking that decision into consideration, there is no relation between that lawsuit which addresses public schooling for illegals and the proposed Dream Act policies.

The "insanity" as you call it, was a ruling by the Supreme Court. It states that those who were BROUGHT into the US when they were MINORS are NOT GUILTY of any crime.

The DREAM act absolutely does not give "Automatic" Citizenship, 1st you get Residency for 5 yrs, then path to Citizenship, and Gives NO Health Care, Free Education with GOOD GRADES, and even then you have to QUALIFY. I'm not sure where you live but in california you would be able to apply for a government fee waiver that would pay for all your credit classes fees based on your income. Immigrant student are not able to apply for these or any other kinds of financial aid. The dream act requires that student accepted in to the school or to join the millitary, so it doesnt give them anything they have to earn it!

If you ppl would take the time to actually read the bill and not go off on what someone told you would know that no one is getting ANYTHING for free. This bill is for kids who graduated from high school, attend @ least 2 yrs of college, they WONT be eligible for in state tuition/federal grants. They can join the army, they have to have NO criminal background. After they prove ALL that, they are NOT given automatic citizenship, they are given temporary status

Check out the actual bill as it's worded at the US Senate's web site. The DREAM ACT DOES give "permanent legal residency" with a "path" to citizenship, gives in-state tuition to ILLEGALS, AND would allow them to sponsor as many as their relatives to come to the US. What a deal for illegals. It's a scam for Americans!

I would've liked to attend college out of state but couldn't afford it. The idea that someone from another country _who_is_here_illegally_ and may have grown up next door to me could go to my preferred out of state college for less infuriates me.
You also have to realize that no professor will dare fail or deny entry into a program to these illegal students. Dozens of "Latino Studies" programs will likely pop up to hand out worthless degrees.

Remember, no one is giving them anything free, they'll have to work their asses (excuse my language) off! They have to pass a six year "probation" period before they are even granted a legal residency (not a citizenship) and THEN wait more years to try to apply for citizenship. So there is no "automatic citizenship".

My dauther had to pay over $800.00 to out of district fees, we live across the street from the college, illegals don't have to pay that, our tax dollars pay for there fees, and there college. Even the college told her, if you were Illegal it would be Free. So you need to Go read the Dream act.
