Looks like Samson is well on his way in the vid. Did he make a complete recovery? My parent's dog (Border Collie mix) had an FCE about 13 days ago but it's been a struggle so far. We're hoping she bounces back like Samson seems to have.
My dog suffered from FCE...he was able to walk but never regained control over his urine or bowels. After a 2 year long struggle he was so miserable with himself that we and out vet decided to let him pass with love and dignity. I'm glad your dog didn't have the same fate as Elvis, even if I'm bitter that you still have your best friend. Best to both of you.
that is awesome. My dog had an FCE on July 12th and is in PT three times a week. Just this morning he tried to "walk" off the exercise ball we put him on to pee. It's a slow process, but they are telling us he will fully recover. Looks like Sampson had a lot to get better for...get back on that sailboat!!
