I'm confused, are these scales supposed to be read from the bottom up. I noticed you said @ 3:45 that the second line was the 2nd string and not the 5th?
Thanks for covering this. The one major thing I learned was that there is no shortcut to the hours of practice learning scales fluidly requires. Looks like I'm on the right track...and I need to go practice!

One thing that helped me "get out of position" was learning scales 4 notes per string
