The Koreans who know english very well on youtube, are very frustrated these days because of several reasons. There is this small but stressful war going on between China, Korea, Japan on the comments area of hundreds of historical, cultural videos. And in my opinion, the chinese, and the Japanese are very ruthless and low class in the way they attack koreans on youtube. So that is why I'm saying not "all koreans" will be offended, but you will always have the others who will. You already know.
"the Japanese are very ruthless and low class in the way they attack koreans on youtube."
it's been tit for tat, sir. the harshest racist crap i've seen on youtube has mostly been from sister-datin' eastern european nazis, but in my opinion the koreans' anti-japan comments run a close second.
the average youtuber posting racist comments is not representative of his country. most japanese and koreans are ashamed of the ultranationalist douches who lose their temper at the drop of a hat.
What I meant by the ruthless attacks is not really the comment sections. Believe me the Koreans are responding that way because of what China and Japan started. In youtube in general the videos produced by Chinese and Japanese attacking Korea by mostly unfounded claims is what I meant. You will find a crazy amount of low class hatred videos produced on the Chinese and Japanese. If those idiots get a hold of this Kimchi video, it will cause another unattractive problem sir.
claiming that the chinese and japanese started any sort of campaign of hateful videos is problematic at best.
koreans' ire, while often justified, has a LONG history of going way far overboard.
some of the shit i see spouted by koreans on here and on korean sites is just pure uneducated hate for a bunch of people who are often trying to mend fences...
the hatemongers are in the minority. most people here just wanna rock and don't give a fuck what some moron types on the internet.
koreans' ire, while often justified, has a LONG history of going way far overboard
Would you bother to give an example (elaborate)? I want to know your point clearly.
When I say Chinese and Japanese started a campaign, it is fact based on historical evidence. And it is also true to youtube land, in a third person's perspective it is so, however I'm not here to justify the "Koreans", the main point is this "KIMCHI SONG" LOL
Your students wrote this song? Then you shouldn't be worry about explaining it at the police or at the prosecutor's office, right? However, posting images and videos of another without permission is a direct violation of the Criminal Law of Korea. Moreover, you will be even more heavily punished if you violate a child's right of privacy (without parents' consent). You must be completely without any knowledge of laws or common sense. And violate it WORLD WIDE? There is no insurance for this. LOL
Aww, how adorable. ^_^
