Economically, there may be a few countries with a weak economy that would be a bit of a drag, but I do not know if it would make a big difference.

I guess it's because we don't really think of ourselves as citizens of the individual states like we used to; we just think of ourselves as Americans. I don't ever see Europe being like the United States of America in that respect.

@jbranstetter04 it is because I would like to have a stronger unity among the Nordic countries than now, and I do not think the EU knows or cares about what is best for Sweden. Economically, there may be a few countries with a weak economy that would be a bit of a drag, but I do not know if it would make a big difference.

I guess it's because we don't really think of ourselves as citizens of the individual states like we used to; we just think of ourselves as Americans. I don't ever see Europe being like the United States of America in that respect.

In America, the privately-owned Federal Reserve printed $250 billion last year. It gives this newly printed currency to the banks for free. Simply change the law so the government gets the newly printed currency.
