@alaskarallyer Why the sound doesn't fit a V-8 engine? And you're saying the motor runs at 7,200 rpm? In my opinion and experience, this motor will not last for long time. If you say it runs at 4,500 rpm, trhen, looks possible. Ratio engine prop is about 2.66:1, and this v-8 should have a torque for less ratio.

This video is sped up, raising the pitch of the engine sound and there have possibly been sound effects added. A 400hp corvette engine would NOT possibly be able to fly in a small 172. The engine alone weighs over 2000 lbs. That's just under the entire weight of a Cessna 172 with a 150hp lycoming.
