@CrystalFissure All of these games are classics, but I tire of such nostalgia posts. Games nowadays, if anything, take far longer to develop in real terms and in terms of man power. There are plenty of great titles out now and in absolute terms, a greater number of games are released each year. I can agree that there are more FPS games now than in the past, but you could say that the past was dominated by platformers in a similar way. The 90's were perhaps a better time for children's games.

Xbox has no original platformers and only halo as a original fps where ps3 has socom killzone resistance which are all better than cod in my opinion. o yer and left for dead.
