The funny thing of this all was that those snowmobilers had respect. They didnt go braping by. They slowed down, went down many rpms, and tried to kindly ride by. The dumbass tree fucker made more noise then the sleds. All i have to say is get the fuck out of the way, cuz i will BRRAAAPPPP a tree huggin muther fucker. Get the fuck out of america. Nothing like a dumbass who doesnt know fuck about shit.
I just love idiots like you. Be sure to park your gasoline car in the garage next time to go out in the woods on a groomed snowmobile trail. Get in shape and make your own trail.
I read your "Case against ski resorts". I would think you would have put a little more thought when telling people to "give backcountry skiing a try" without any emphasis on avy training. Avy deaths grow in CO every year from backcountry enthusists who are not prepared or not educated. Thank you for your contribution to controlling the over population problem. I'm sure the families of the dead appreciate it.
How about you go to the other MILLIONS of acres in CO that are banned for snowmobiling and quit bitching about the noise from the 1% of terrain us sledders can actually ride still in this State. I hate hippies like you. Your way or no way as always...
wow its the skiers that scar the wildlife you idiot. as soon as the whiskey jacks here sleds there coming right for us and we share are sandwiches with them. god ur an idiot
Motezuma is a multi use area jackass, not wilderness! Are you having granola on the trail. Disgusting, oh by the way you are in a historic mining district. Fuel was used to make your equipment, clothing etc. If I see you in the middle of the trail you will be used for traction.....
Nothing like a complete GOOF! Hey mister granola, if you want your bambi experience you should hike elswhere. The trail that you hiked on was made by sledders asshole. But thats ok they made it a day ago before you and your anal friends tramped down the trail suckin on your oatmeal cookies,,,,,,,Unreal
Wilderness?, there are houses right behind you! If you want quiet and no snowmobiles go to the millions of acres of designated wilderness. Stay away from multi use areas.
glad to see you are so considerate of others enjoying there time. weird that you complain about these guys on the land they get to play on, i have been banned out of a lot of places, and all you go into the areas sleds are still left and complain about it. the ORV menace you talk about seems to be nothing but a very one sided ignorant statement. i dont see the snowmobilers compain cuz your sitting right in the middle of the freakin trail, grow up, learn how to share, or just go and die!!
Wow, not a single comment agreeing with you so far, better tell your friends to start commenting. Next time you should give them the finger in time enough for them to see it, stop, and beat you down. Idiot.
Stupid hippies. That was a snowmobile trail. Go find your areas that are non-motorized. I have personally met some tele-skiers on the mountain. It was nothing to tow them up the mountain. They got six runs in while we lunched. Normally they said they are too tired after one. All got along great. Then there are haters like you.
First of all, it looks like you guys were on a road meant for snowmobiles, so why are you so shocked?
Second of all, those snowmobilers were very respectful of you when they passed your group, giving you plenty of room and going by at an acceptable rate of speed.
And lastly, I guide snowmobile tours in the Fraser Valley in Colorado. The trails we use are multi-use, and WE GROOM THEM. I can't tell you how many times I've had ski poles swung at me out there. Just irks me when we maintain them.
think before you talk. the trail you probly took the get there was paid for and maintained by snowmobilers and if you feel snowmobiles are so disruptive and loud go some where else!!!
We have just as much right to be there as you do. I spend the entire winter back country skiing and sledding. There are plenty of areas that do not allow you sledders. I can't tell you how many purists where happy to see us so we could break trail and I have offered many rides. So stay home!
snowmobilers have as much right to be on the snow as u do and the wildlife doesnt get scared away by sleds ive been within ten feet of a whole herd of deer and the just looked up and watched us pass. those snowmobiles werent even loud they had stock pipes and they were very curteous to you by passing you at a slow speed being able to do what you want when you want is what makes this country great have a good one
While it's hard to hear the sleds over your own whining, realize that trail your on is maintained and funded by those sledders. If I'd ridden by you I'd have waved, maybe even stopped to shoot the breeze, never knowing I was about to encounter an elitst a-hole. See you out there!
