Ramin is going back into les mis as JVJ at the end of november , looking forward to that , but he's got some big shoes to fill , Alfie is phenomenal .

Ramin is too old for Marius......Nick got the role because he has the vocal capability and he is the age that Marius was....simple as that. No doubt you will see Ramin as JVJ and you will see Nick as Enjoiras...

@histre101 Well, Michael Ball was 34 when he played Marius in the 10th anniversary. I wouldn't say they castes Nick Jonas purely on age, but I do see things like that happening more and more these days

They put Nick Jonas in there because he played Gavroche in the original broadway show. That is the only reason he is in this production

@04mha Ramin sounds rather breathless as Enjolras here and you're right, his Marius was so much better, he should have played that role and they should have managed to get David Thaxton as Enjolras, but I think he couldn't take time off for this concert. Shame!

@04mha uh Ramin is too old for the part of Marius. As far as I know ramin is going on to a role in Phantom, not as JVJ as again, he isn't quite there for that role.
