Thanks. I made this one using a simple recursive function similar to an L-System. The function is mathematically almost identical to a Koch curve.
The triangles on this one are animated rotating around the lines of the previous iteration. Wikipedia has some good pages on fractal curves. Search for levy C curve to find this one.

Fantastic, would love to see this at a higher resolution. Is it a Koch curve? Any references or short description of the algorithm?
