I modded my controller with lights like this, but i took energy saver led's. All the 4 leds on the ABXY part of the controller only draws 2 MA each on full brightness.. It only affects 2 min of my battery time, which is nice...

@Mastersparten1999 use more solder not too much tho if you have metal that is touching other metal you can short your controller and dont forget to use flux and theres this thing i forgot what its called its for absorbing xtra solder to make for a clean weld, ill PM you what its called once i find out
