@AliasFox1. For sure, religion has made a lot of it's own rules. So very few of them have anything to do with Lord Jesus. I can feel ya on that one. When we put God's word up against what they call Religious doctrine and dogma. It's real clear. They aint centered on the Lord, just them selves and thier Feel Good Club. Seldom do we find a minister who is familiar with what Jesus taught and actually practices it.

So many examples in the Bible where God gave His people the victory. I like this one:

Psalm 44:4-8 (NIV) You are my King and my God, who decrees victories for Jacob. Through You we push back our enemies; through Your name we trample our foes. I do not trust in my bow, my sword does not bring me victory; but You give us victory over our enemies, You put our adversaries to shame. In God we make our boast all day long, and we will praise Your name forever.

The most stupid thing I've ever heard is belief in rapture. Does Christians really believe they will all be taken with their human bodies to the skies/heaven? Ridiculous! And why it has not happened yet? I'm sure many Christians were convinced end would come after 1999. It didn't. Then after 911 they thought end would come. It didn't. So can some tell me when rapture would come? I'm sure Christians will expect rapture still a hundred years from now..

@dualis777 I understand your view. Throughout history, some believers interpreted events to be sign of Jesus return / rapture. We have been wrong about alot of things, it doesn't mean the Bible is wrong. Events happening today appear to match prophecy. We still don't know exactly when, but we know the season. Do some prophecy study, you might get blown away. PM me and Im happy to point you to cool stuff and you can reason with it first hand. God reveals Himself to those who seek him. Peace.

@dualis777 You can't put all Christians in one can. The rapture is based on Christ's second coming. Some evangelical Christians believe the rapture will occur before the tribulation but this is not necesarily the correct sequence in the end-times chain of events. Nor are the end-times easy to understand as it takes spiritual and intellectual knowledge to understand it.

Really the rapture could occur when any Christian dies as they go immediately to heaven, also at the end of time.

Melissa was given 1 hr to live at Columbia Presbyterian Hosp Bx NY. Both her lungs were unable to stop bleeding. Drs said that not even a lung transplant would save her. I remember how in the supernatural God used Moses to part the red sea.So I prayed God in the supernatural power You gave Moses I ask You to close my daughter's lungs like You did to the red sea..She flat line 8 times and was suppose to be brain dead. Drs call it miraculous. I say b/c I dared to believe God I received.

This song helped me make it through the early parts of my military career from early 1990. I was stationed at Fort Gordon, Georgia (just outside of Augusta) when I first heard this song. I know this is a commonly-sung tune in many churches, but I like this Petra version the best.

God is pulling me through the toughest spiritual battle in my life. I read about David and him giving the battle to the Lord with goliath when everyone else was against him (soldiers laughed at him, his brothers were embarrased of him and told him to go home and Saul didnt beleive him). This song played in my mind and I have been singing it all weekend!

We just cant even imagine the realities of this feat, a young SHEPHERD, stepping up to fight, A GIANT champion killing machine of a man, with thousands of kills under his sword and spear that was the length of David himself... and yet this small young shepherd boy was empowered by the lord, and defeated what was thought to be the most fearsome giant warrior of his Time!!! WOW!!!

Me too. I am in the midst of a battle. The more you let go and let God, the easier it gets. You don't have to fight as hard b/c the Lord fights for you. I am still doing my part too. God be with you my friend wherever you go.
