She is not popular at the moment as she was in her time in Pakistan until 1974. No doubt she is still awsome and to get popular she still sings Pakistani songs......

When I listen to her song, I get very excited, emotional, and feel like crying for her amazing voice. Runa is the number one world singer. Even Madona can take some lessons from Runa.
Runa's voice is of superior quality. Its amazing how high she took her voice and just like that how easily she brought it down to a lower level. That is what I call a flawless singing voice. The pride of Bengal one and only Runa Laila.
