The design remembers me of the illustrator Rodney Matthews. If you don't know him, give you a try and google ;-) He has his great times in the 70s and 80s. You will love it.

@crepegirl yes to the max, i used to draw my animations frame by painstaking frame with movie maker, with anime studio the computer thinks for you and auto completes a lot to make it smooth and graceful, you only have to change things every few frames

It's really different from other animation software and vector drawing software, but, once you get used to it, gets pretty easy, and as you can see on my video, you can make stuff with a big quality...
