Review Costal Scents Palettes

HI,I have 2 palettes of COASTAL SCENTS the one with 88 colours shimmer and the 88 colours matt. I bought it online on the COASTAL SCENTS and they are still in the packaging in which i got them. I realized i had ordered just the ones i already had. The customs stopped the package and i had to pay 25€ to get it. although this i'm selling the for a very good price. If you are interested in them, ii would be better for you to take them directly from Europe instead ordering them from the USA.Bye

everyone likes different ones- I like the matte one cause there are some shimmer colors in it too! :o)

go with matte, you can always add shimmer afterwards if you like. plus, the matte has some shimmer colours as well.

There is no difference. They come from the same manufacturer. Actually, you would be better off buying them much cheaper on ebay because it's the exact same thing

This review really help me i watched it and decieded to place an order i ended up buying the 88 warm palette and the 88 matte palette. I am into the shimmer but i have so much shimmer already so i thought it would be a nice change to buy some matte colors. Do you think those two palettes are going to be good? i have not gotten them yet i am suppose to get them wenseday so i have another 4 days but i hope it gets here sooner because i really want it i always have i just hadnt gotten it. :)

I've just started buying MAC after using CD and Lancome forever, my question is if Coastal Scents is so great why would you buy similar colors in MAC? are they better than Stila or Bobby Brown?

The pigmentation is very close and the colors are close but I prefer my mac because the CS has fallout! I think mac eye colors are better then stilla or BB. I hope this answers your questions.

Thanks so much. Your reviews are very helpful. I'm very happy with the MAC I've purchased so far as the colors are true and clear and the paint pot really makes them stay on my lid all day (you just have to hurry to apply the shadow before it drys!). I still think the CD are more blendable but they have too many frost and shimmers and the colors are not as strong and bright as in the past. Even the YSL I just bought is not as rich as the MAC colors. Thanks again for the advice.

The neutral pallete is just gorgeous! All natural colors that look great on a human eyelid :)

I am so lost! I see so many comments about coastal scents being dangerous as far as the ingredients go...i don't know much about make-up but just glancing at the ingredients on their website, they seemed along the lines with the mac ingredients. Have you heard about this too? Is this true or just some kind of rumor?

I have heard it but I am not sure how true it is! There are lots of different opinions on this online! :o(

They have 2 different palettes- The original )some matte some shimmer) and the shimmer one (all glitter) I like this for travel so I have lots of colors and dont break my mac ones- or this is great to start out with while you are building your mac collection! :o) Enjoy!

I recently bought two 88 palettes - shimmer & matte/satin. Think I'll sell the shimmer one on eBay, not going to use it much I don't think. Especially once my MAC palettes are ordered & on my dresser, I'm not likely to grab the shimmer palette but the matte/satin one is good for those crazy colors I'll never buy in full size. You know, the ones that make my mom's eye brows raise when I visit her.

yeah i didnt end up buying the shimmer one because the regular one has enough shimmer for me! :o) I do use my MAC ones more but I use the costal scents ones when I want to brighter colors as well! :o)

could you tell whether the neutral pallete has mostly matte shades and if so how matte are they? I'mnot a big fan of completly matte ones, i like to have a slight shimer to it, i guess my ideal would be 'shroom' by MAC

Hey

for the 88 palette did you notice any eye irritation once you use them, i did. I dont know why.The pigmentationits great but they make my eyes red and itchy.
