  • seems like the oscillators lack anti aliasing filtering....the high pitch notes sound terrible

  • sorry i mean to your song library

  • can you save songs to itunes? im looking forward to being able to make a song and then mix it up with djay:)

  • @themufasamonkey you can export your song to WAV and then get it through iTunes or WiFi.

  • Nevermind! I found the "Hide/show effects" in the options bar.

  • I have the iPhone 4S and when I open Sunvox it shows the the top part where the notes and module are. But it dosnt show the dots for effects like your iPad does. Any help?

  • I like Sunvox the way it is. I like to Make Beats/Music on different sequencers. I get bored of using the same type sequencer all the time. Plus this tracker type sequencing is new to me anyway. With the Midi Capabilities of Sunvox you can really use any sequencer you want to. Wait till I feel like making videos again. Another great video NR!

  • NightRadio, SunVox is so great, but the sequencer is straight from the stone age! Swap out the current sequencer, or include a grid based matrix sequencer, its 2011 !!

  • @Axiomatick Matrix sequencer is in my near plans :) But pure tracker interface is not so archaic, as you think. Looks like Assembler, but it is very flexible and powerful :)

  • @NightRadio2007

I am used to using this type of sequencer from the early 90s :) Feels very slow these days! -- Curious: What features can it provide that a matrix sequencer with a side mounted note properties editor couldn't?

I imagine your version of a matrix sequencer to offer that same superb functionality!

One other thing, I would love to play SunVox with my other gear, if it could sync to an external midi clock that would be great.

Those are my top feature requests. Thanks!

  • @Axiomatick ok, but what is difference between the tracker and matrix seq? :) There are 2D-array of notes in both variants.

MIDI sync will be in one of the next releases :)

  • @NightRadio2007 Please tell me you're keeping the tracker. PLEEEEEASE tell me you're keeping the tracker.

    Please.

  • @ArchTV of course :) Some matrix sequencer (if it will be) is just an option, not replacement.

  • @NightRadio2007 Thank you. As a regular user of SunVox, I couldn't stand dealing with a matrix sequencer. I actually find the tracker much simpler, and I'm fairly sure you do too, considering your apparent skill with it.

  • @NightRadio2007 the sequencer must stay, afterall its a tracker. Yes tracker sequencers may seem stone age , but thats their appeal, they are extremely simple to use and very fast . They are extremely easy to use and that why we love them. For those like me that love to make music step by step , tracker sequencers are pretty essential.

  • @NightRadio2007

The difference is accessibility, intuitiveness -- easy of use!!

Its the same thing you have implemented with the node based sound design hookups, and arranger: an elegant, simple GUI that still delivers the full control in an intuitive accessible way.

Matrix sequencer or not, the current tracker needs to match the rest of sunVox!

    Update the tracker!! :)

  • @Axiomatick I could say the same about the current tracker, haha.

  • Fabulous!
