So Navi was working for Ganon from the beginning so she could back-stab Link at the end, but she couldn't because of the waves of darkness Ganon used (so much for a master plan). Then Zelda wanted to rescue Ganon from the falling castle, and as Navi laments that she couldn't help Ganon properly, he rises from the ashes and Navi takes the resolve to help him to defeat Link this time. So Link loses the Master Sword and Zelda sees this as an opportunity for Ganon to win, but Link gets it first.

@hardbasskicker Can you explain how? On the original, I just hit him with a light arrow, then struck his tail with my hammer. Constantly repeated that pattern. Once I got back the Master Sword, I did the same thing with it. If I got low on Magic Power, I lured him over to smash a rock open, hoping it'd drop magic jars, which it usually did. He barely even got to attack the whole battle.

Nothing I said was wrong though. The red blood was in the VERY first print only, most of the copies sold and bought were V 1.1 onwards, the edited versions. Also, nintendo did the censoring themselves, not because people complained. The removal of the Islamic chanting too was a self edit also/
