So, I did. The pastor told me that I was selfish, trying to run the church, fake humble, arrogant, and bringing the devil in our church. He yelled at me for about 30 minutes. told me to sit down, shut up and do my job. That really took it out of me. I can handle most anything but not being made out to be those things when i am the exact opposite. This is how my pastor treated me.
I gave her my song list and had been ready since day one of going to that church. She never let me as services came and went. I finally asked her in a text why and she said God told her not to let me but she never told me that til i text her. last thing she told me was be ready asap. So, she proceeds to tell me that " God told her not to let me sing" and "that if God's will (her idea of God's will) is not my will then sorry", "take it up with the pastor..
I gave my money, time, blood, sweat, and tears, selflessly. I sacrificed my singing career, my family ect. I was promised to sing for the church on a regular basis but never was only used 6 times or so. In the last month before I left the church, i was asked by the music minister to sing cause she needed me to sing and to be ready to fill in for someone.
I am a semi pro entertainer and singer. I was asked by an old friend of mine who has a church to start coming on a regular basis. he said that he would use me in the singing. I was planted in that church for 6 months. In those 6 months, i cleaned the church, did office work, helped prison outreach, led elderly ministry, helped homeless ministry, ect.
