  • how can somebody like you say : it is not in the bible : use your brains : it was the original purpose of God to make the whole earth a paradise ( read genesis you twister of the truth) where God says:8 Further, Jehovah God planted a garden in E´den,

God blessed them and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth and subdue it,

is their a veil on your heart?

read ephesians 3 about : the eternal purpose that he formed in connection with the Christ, Jesus our Lord,

  • Wow, in 35 years of being in the Jehovah's Witnesses I've never thought about the paradise not being a bible teaching. Now that you mention it, I've only ever seen this teaching in Watchtower publications, and you know it's in almost every publication.

  • the watchtower teaches that no one can be saved outside of their organisation. the gospel does not say that, only Jesus is the way to salvation.

  • @lunabranwen then you are mistaken:

revelation shows that Jesus is the means that Jehovah God uses to save us :IF WE HAVE FAITH AND SHOW IT BY OBEYING.

rev 7:10 And they keep on crying with a loud voice, saying: “Salvation [we owe] to our God, who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb.”

  • The way they dismissed you and said repent sums it up.The're bastards,i mean they will not even think about it.You cannot reason with unreasonable people. It seems all about controlling the masses. Jesus will open up a can of whoop ass.

  • I am and have been a JW from birth till now, and im 28. I have a lways believed 100% with out a doubt that this is the truth. But ive always wondered why we cant read or watch anything that says anything negative about the organization. If 'for those loving your law there is not stumbling block', whats the problem? And its not that we cant reat/watch negative things about Jehovah, its negative things about the organization. I'm really begining to doubt that we really has Jah's backing...

  • @lilfreeway21 oh but there are stumbling blocks :

11 that we may not be overreached by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his designs.

BUT the mistakes made can be stumbling blocks but also the one to reveal them to you!!!

    1 cor

9 But keep watching that this authority of YOURS does not somehow become a stumbling block to those who are weak.

    and

7 “Woe to the world due to the stumbling blocks! .... but woe to the man through whom the stumbling block comes!

  • @afterraincomessun The bible says to prove the truth to yourself. If JW's really have th bona fide truth then it should stand the test of my research right? Dont we go out every saturday and tell ppl to investigate their own religions? So why cant i do exactly what i tell them to do? We get on the catholics bcuz of thr past but what about ours?? We cannot have a double standard can we?

  • @lilfreeway21 there is a wide field that we have proved .

in the margin there are some things not complete worked out

and our expectations will perhaps have to be corrected :

what we do believe is in the bible!

dont you believe that we live in the last days ?

do you want this world to continue?

i beg to Jehovah everyday to let the end come because of the cruel things that wicked people do to others

and even the whole world is suffering from the reign of imperfect people

  • @afterraincomessun You guys have been in the last days since 1874...or is it 1914, well all of christianity has been in the last days for 2000 years. Kind of loses it's credibility, like the WT with it's SIX different "corrections" of what a generation means! JW's are suffering because of the reign of the highly imperfect GB!!!

  • 5 O Jehovah, your loving-kindness is in the heavens;

Your faithfulness is up to the clouds.

    6 Your righteousness is like mountains of God;

Your judicial decision is a vast watery deep.

Man and beast you save, O Jehovah.

7 How precious your loving-kindness is, O God!

And in the shadow of your wings the sons of men themselves take refuge.

    9 For with you is the source of life;

By light from you we can see light.

  • so i showed that there is a paradise earth and never heard of you again?

  • Jesus said to them: “YOU are mistaken, because YOU know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God; 30 for in the resurrection neither do men marry nor are women given in marriage, but are as angels in heaven.

so no babies in heaven ? then the baby will be on earth.

8 And the sucking child will certainly play upon the hole of the cobra; ...9 They will not do any harm ...the earth( and heaven) will certainly be filled with the knowledge of Jehovah as the waters are covering the very sea.isiah 11

  • in the bible picture of paradise in isiah you read about the little boy or girl: And the sucking child

do you think there are babies in heaven:

thats wrong because the bible tells us that for those who get a life in heaven( those that are to be kings and priests :144000)they will not be man and wife or man or wife.

    they are like the angels.

so clearly there are two groups and you want to ignore: one (144000)in heaven .

and a great crowd on earth .

Why dont you believe what is in the bible???

  • @afterraincomessun good point. but what about the rest of the pple who going to live on the earth? are they going to live as man & wife?..if yes, then who will take the wife of seven brothers?

  • @deadleader1 also on earth : married couples may have offspring.

but once a husband dies the legal marriage has ended:

1cor 7:39 A wife is bound during all the time her husband is alive. But if her husband should fall asleep [in death], she is free to be married to whom she wants, only in [the] Lord.

  • these verses of isaiah 11 compared with the verses about adam and eve in Genesis are the inspiration for the words : paradise earth

    like in isaiah 65:

you fight the explanation of the witnesses , but as you should know people have no soul whatsoever , there is nothing to go to heaven .

so our future is after the resurrection ON EARTH .

Your faith did not overcome the world and now your conquered by it.

the words of the bible are best explained by the watchtower society .

  • @afterraincomessun If the words of the bible are the best explained then how come there have been so many "prophetic" failures and changes in doctrine "new-light" back and forth and back and forth. The bible doesn't even state "new light", it states light getting brighter and brighter, the WT invented the phrasing new light to cover for a multitude of failures and mistakes, which I might add have caused immeasurable suffering to many. The WT has an atrocious record of "explanations"!

  • @MuscleMaxZ1 mistakes put our faith to the test : however they are NOT sins! :

where would you go to hear truths like with the witnesses?

66 Owing to this many of his disciples went off to the things behind and would no longer walk with him. 67 ...Jesus said...: “YOU do not want to go also, do YOU?” 68 ... Peter answered him: “Lord, whom shall we go away to? You have sayings of everlasting life; 69 and we have believed and come to know that you are the Holy One of God.”

  • @afterraincomessun I did not say anything about mistakes being sins, but since these mistakes (flip-flop new light doctrine on blood transfusions for ex.) have cause needless harm/death, well then my conscience tells me there is something wrong. Light getting brighter and brighter does not include, in my rationale, light getting brighter, then dimmer (reverting to prior beliefs) and then brighter again...this is not "new light". WT has invented "new light".

  • @MuscleMaxZ1 well it is not so difficult to understand the bible truth : what goes for the blood of animals certainly is true for the blood of humans : abstain from blood.

But the technics about bloodtransfusion have made it difficult to explain : if you want to avoid mistakes : refuse all blood .

the thing is : we are not dogmatic so that we are not flexible once understanding grows

all good sciences work like that

but if you dont want unnesecary harm: try to find the nuance

  • @MuscleMaxZ1 your conscience you will have to follow

but use meditation before you decide

watch out that it is not your will not to want to bear the torture stake of christ

  • @MuscleMaxZ1" have cause needless harm/death, well then my conscience tells me there is something wrong"

well first you must get rid of you pink glasses .

    even some elders have them.

But learn to accept that we , the witnesses, make mistakes but still have Gods favor.

Some items are very difficult to handle and we do make mistakes.

but whenever we learn that we were wrong we change our point of view.

But raymond franz blasphemed in this subject : were you pointing at his book?

  • @afterraincomessun I don't wear "pink glasses", my decisions are reached based on sound evidence to back up my arguments, and this evidence largely is based on the WT's own publications. I was not referencing RF's book but now that you mention it...have you ever read it? If not then how can you judge that he is blaspheming on the subject?

  • @afterraincomessun Furthermore, how can you tell that the witnesses still have god's favor? Simply because the GB tells you so? Just curious. Also, just how did RF blaspheme on the subject? I trust you did read the book then, if not again I reference Prov. 18:13

  • @MuscleMaxZ1

part 1 when some parents differ about the decisions to be made it would be very catastrophal when one of the parents would decide to inform the kids about his or hers point of view ESPECIALLY when they just tell them her or hisown opinion.

the bible makes this remarks about people that do this in order to slander

proverbs 18:8 The words of the slanderer are like things to be swallowed greedily, which do go down into the innermost parts of the belly.

  • @MuscleMaxZ1 part 2

the listener is not always aware of the bad intentions that one can have an is certainly not aware of all the facts

this is what the bible says

proverbs 18:13 When anyone is replying to a matter before he hears [it], that is foolishness on his part and a humiliation.

lets say one does not have a bad intention : then why write a book about it?

why crossover to the camp of the enemy?

people can suddenly accept things they formerly hated.

  • @afterraincomessun Some people have a heartfelt christian conscience and they feel compelled to warn others about things that are damaging to people and society. I'm sure god knows of RF's sincere heartfelt intentions. The WT does everything in it's power to strip people of their christian consciences, so yes, there is RF's book. Read it and you will see what he is talking about (see Prov. 18:13) Perhaps I did allude to this book, I did not recall, but glad you referenced it.

  • @MuscleMaxZ1 2Lets hope this goes for RF: Every way of a man is upright in his own eyes, but Jehovah is making an estimate of hearts.

25 There exists a way that is upright before a man, but the ways of death are the end of it afterward.

"The WT does everything in it's power to strip people of their christian consciences"

dont forget that we have to love God above all : people like to be respected for their love for their neighbour but that can be egoistic

  • @afterraincomessun You are presuming that RF's heart has somehow been polluted by demons...this is delusional fearful thinking that the WT wants you to believe. RF's book was heartfelt and as little biased as I have ever seen. You must elaborate of more background info. that is needed, I thought RF documented things splendidly. So, have you read the entire book by RF? You did not answer that question or how you know for certain that JW's still have god's favor.

  • @MuscleMaxZ1 i have a dutch copy of RF book

it is a genuine effort of the devil to get people away from following Jehovah:

the mistakes that were made show that we are all humans : but if their would be no guidance at all we would be lost.

there are so many allegations that need more background informations but they are presented in such a way the reader is really put on the wrong leg :

and it is biassed because only the facts that RF wants to share with you are presented

  • @afterraincomessun Perhaps it was the devil that moved people to move from their beliefs to be held captive by the WT society. You can use the argument both ways and for EVERY single denomination through history. Yes, guidance is needed in lots of cases, but this certainly does not imply that the WT's techniques for guidance and control are correct or even moral, and in many ways they are immoral. I can give you multitudes of examples if you like...Prov. 4:18 does not apply.

  • @MuscleMaxZ1 RF falls back to idolatry and trinitarian worship

these things we can prove to be false

what was his real motive to act like this :

every one could blaspheme the brothers but i want to stay INTEGER

    BETRAYAL IS COMMON NOWADAYS

JUDE DID BETRAY JESUS suppose you work for a company and you have together with you colleages worked hard to establish a good company : now your competitor offers you much money to switch to his company : with clients and knowhowe?

  • @afterraincomessun The WT fits your "competitor" example perfectly, yet you apply it to anyone other than JW's. I tend to agree that the JW's have the non-trinitarian view correct, but this does not mean that they are the world's only true religion, nor are they the only ones that believe this. How do you know for certain that JW's are still in god's favor, give me examples.

  • @MuscleMaxZ1 20 No; but I say that the things which the nations sacrifice they sacrifice to demons, and not to God; and I do not want YOU to become sharers with the demons.

"How do you know for certain that JW's are still in god's favor, give me examples."

3 And by this we have the knowledge that we have come to know him, namely, if we continue observing his commandments.

5 But whoever does observe his word, truthfully in this [person] the love of God has been made perfect.

  • @afterraincomessun You start of with "20", I have no idea what you are talking about. What scriptures are you quoting by #'s 3 and 5??? I need more context and explanation, this is not sufficient for me to evaluate your answer to my question. If this is your total answer then it is inadequate esp. in light of the fact that the WT has had an atrocious record of following the bible's word.

  • @MuscleMaxZ1 i think that you should know that God makes Himself known to anyone He likes:

if you are thinking that you live like God wants then God is going to take notice

dont expect a reward in front of the public

it is not You that judges : IT IS GOD.

if you like another religion better than the witnesses : YOU CHOSE!

  • @afterraincomessun OK, point taken, but I think you should think seriously about the validity that you NEED the GB as intermediary in your salvation. "God makes himself known to anyone he chooses", OK. But leave out the GB as the intermediary. cheers.

  • @MuscleMaxZ1 you should accept that God uses intermediairs fine people but also sinners :

Look how David dealt with Saul.

    Moses made mistakes

but when his brother and sister rebelled GOD SHOWED WHOM HE USED .

so watchout that you do not get hit by Gods punishment .

He used his son and His son uses imperfect people

i doubt wether you are perfect.

and if you dont forgive others God wont forgive you!

  • @afterraincomessun David, Saul, Moses are all mentioned in the bible...the JW (WB&TS) is NOT mentioned at all in the bible. Furthermore, there was no WT that anyone could discern until 1879 and no identified JW's until 1931, where were they all those centuries. Mat. 25:45-47 does NOT imply the WT as this intermediary, nor Is. 43:10, it's just not there. The WT has misapplied and misappropriated these verses.

  • @Muscle it is obvious that the bible writes about the past : its history

and these history facts were written afterwards:

    proverbs 7 writes:

8 Better is the end afterward of a matter than its beginning.

so when this age is past it will surely be written into the new bible that these days were like the days of Noah and that the brothers of Jesus , the Governing body of the christian congregation have ,by their preaching work, helped a great crowd ( rev 7:9) to survive Armageddon

  • @afterrain Yes, it was written about the past and the WT society is trying to insert itself into the past via the scriptures I mentioned, Mat. 24: 45-47 and Is. 43:10. Your statement ignores these points entirely, furthermore it is wildly presumptuous, given the foregoing arrogance of the WT, to even hint that "a new bible" will be written praising the governing body! Show me how the WT justifies itself to the scriptures I cited.

  • @MuscleMaxZ1

part 1 well it is Gods right to judge whom He likes:

who are you to judge the servant of another : for his own master he will stand.

    AND WHERE WILL YOU BE?

the governing body are no puppets on a string:

they have to use their brains , pray for wisdom , search the scriptures , search for the changes that false religion has made, and finally throw off the yoke that was laid on mankind by it:

    so they do their utmost

    meanwhile you do this:rev 12:10

  • @afterraincomessun I ask the question again, tell me how the WT self-appt.s itself to Mat. 24:45-47 and Isa. 43:10, how do they justify this. Of course the GB is not on a string, they go merrily on their way mis-applying and mis-interpreting scriptures thereby putting all their followers on the puppet string. The GB's record of scripture interpretation is no better than that of "false religion", history proves this over and over.

  • @MuscleMaxZ1 your "over and over "indicates that instead of observing carefully and judging rightiously you just have a blunt judgement in order to lay a smoke curtain for the unexperienced reader:

the Watchtower and the Governing Body have achieved things that are beyond compare whith any church:

but not the discovered facts matter:

they keep to the commandments of the Lord , are spiritual clean and integer.

You just reject them because you feel rejected in a way : tell me about it

  • @afterraincomessun I see you did not answer my question, furthermore, how presumptuous to tell me that I feel rejected, further from the truth my friend. Your avoiding the question makes me wonder if you have any answer for it...I'm waiting. Additionally, many churches have achieved many things that other churches have not, this does not make any of the more worthy. The WT has a record that is abysmal at best,, achievements??? I don't think so. Answer my questions and then we'll talk.

  • @MuscleMaxZ1

part 1 perhaps it will be of some comfort that in those "books to come"also the mistakes of persons will be mentioned like in the bible also in the past the mistakes of worshippers of Jehovah were.

But i'd rather be a Moses than a Miriam if you understand what i mean .

he(Jehovah) has heard YOUR murmurings against (Him). And what are we that YOU should murmur against us?”exodus 16

Jehovah uses whoever He likes , even if they make mistakes.

you know what David said ?

  • @MuscleMaxZ1 part 2 david said:

11 It is unthinkable, on my part, from Jehovah’s standpoint, to thrust my hand out against the anointed of Jehovah!

MuscleMax: if you dont repent of this attitude of your heart you will certainly be held accountable for Your sins.

God uses the witnesses to make known his plans and judgements.

4 Who are you to judge the house servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for Jehovah can make him stand.

  • @MuscleMaxZ1 perhaps you dont feel rejected because you have come in a community or church where they accept you the way you ARE , but God wants sinners to repent and change :

if we have this remorse in our hearts than we can better judge between the lie and the truth because Satan makes this world look very attractive but 1 john 2:

the world is passing away and so is its desire, but he that does the will of God remains forever.

  • @afterraincomessun You have not answered my questions so end of discussion, you have proven that you cannot answer them, either that or your explanation is insufficient. This should be a simple matter for you since the WT derives all of it's status from the verses that I mentioned. Cheers!

  • @MuscleMaxZ1 part 2:“Now have come to pass the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ, because the accuser of our brothers has been hurled down, who accuses them day and night before our God!

17 And the dragon grew wrathful at [the governing body], and went off to wage war with the remaining ones of her seed, who observe the commandments of God and have the work of bearing witness to Jesus.

  • @afterraincomessun part 2 True, you did insert GB, being on the puppet string you are on, thinking that the GB is your sole channel of communication with god (which is frequently wrong and blood-guilty because of it's being incorrect in many cases). You did not answer my questions...you keep offering straw man arguments...please address my questions re: Mat. 24 and Isa. 43. This must be adequately proven or the GB has no authority whatsoever.

  • @MuscleMaxZ1 part 3 i did insert the term governing body , because there is no party on earth that resembles at alll the work they do !!!!!!!!

  • @MuscleMaxZ1 Furthermore the understanding grows after some centuries of darkness in which the false religion , after having killed Jesus followers , have taken away knowledge. the witnesses were as dead bodies but they came alive like is prophecied in ezechiel 37:

14 ‘And I will put my spirit in YOU, and YOU must come to life, and I will settle YOU upon YOUR soil; and YOU will have to know that I myself, Jehovah, have spoken and I have done [it],’ is the utterance of Jehovah.”

  • @MuscleMaxZ1 when we accept the truth of the witnesses WITH THE KNOWLEDGE THAT SOME THINGS ARE DIFFICULT TO KNOW, we are realistic.

I know some things are difficult but do we have better ideas : then write them to the Govering body.

But keep trust in them :

they have a think tank so they know a lot but still they may change : true Christians :These are the ones that keep following the Lamb no matter where he goes.

the truth that is discovered is also covered with a veil for some!

  • @afterraincomessun It's very presumptuous to state that the WT has god's approval after all it's "mistakes" failed prophesies, and flip-flopping doctrinal changes. ( I could give you many many ex.s if you are interested.) How can you trust anything today that is stated by your think tank, it could become old light next week! Many times the "sheep" have had a better understanding than this think tank, this think tank does not deserve the apparent "worship" that it receives from it's followers.

  • @afterraincomessun Just because the witnesses have differing beliefs than most mainstream religions, does not make them worthy of going to in the first place once their checkered past is revealed. Some of the beliefs of the JW's I believe, others I don't. The WT has indeed usurped bible passages, it's a fact. Furthermore I don't think god would bless shunning of family. Would I shun someone that happens to disagree with me on a point of doctrine...NO! To me that is immoral.

  • @MuscleMaxZ1" I don't think god would bless shunning of family."

but is not family : it is those that turn their back to Jehovah:

But now I am writing YOU to quit mixing in company with anyone called a brother that is a fornicator or a greedy person or an idolater or a reviler or a drunkard or an extortioner, not even eating with such a man.

you cant deal with God about whats wrong or whats right : like adam and even you have a free will :God however tells us whats right or wrong.

  • @afterraincomessun The WT tells you what is wrong and what is right. If someone in their good christian conscience knows that a WT teaching does not make sense or is wrong they are disfellowshipped for disagreeing, I find this immoral and incorrect, esp. if the person disagreeing was proven to be correct later on when WT changes it's doctrine, you did not address this point. WT practice of shunning breaks up families out of fear, not love. I have meditated and studied these things and...

  • @afterraincomessun ..my good conscience and my heart, which is what god supposedly can know, not the WT, has led me to certain conclusions which tell me that the WT is NOT god's mouthpiece on earth. This mouthpiece at one point told it's members that the bible did NOT address blood transfusions and therefore left it up to the CONSCIENCE of each person. Unnecessary harm has been caused by the WT in this regard alone, not worthy of it's designation as god's true org. on earth.

  • Would you go back to teachings like everlasting life in Hell?

    or the trinity?

In the past Jehovah used worshippers who made bad mistakes:

Jehovah used David also after his sin with Bathseba:

the word prophet is in fact used because we refer to the prophecies of the bible :

In explaning these prophecies we made some mistakes , but they will come true dont you believe?

If someone deliberately abused bible texts then Jehovah will judge : its his servant!

    but was it deliberate?

  • @MuscleMaxZ1 like 2 cor 4 says: in vers 2:we have renounced the underhanded things of which to be ashamed, not walking with cunning, neither adulterating the word of God, but by making the truth manifest recommending ourselves to every human conscience in the sight of God.

people can blaspheme but in fact Jehovahs witness are keeping to the moral standards of the bible : impartial in politics gave a good conscience in the second world war and in Malawi etc.

    God blesses this !

  • @afterraincomessun Your society does not re-instate people who happened to be correct in hindsight when the WT changes it's doctrine and for this reason I think the WT is immoral. The WT's past record is no better than anyone studying independently and gathering info. from other sources. The bible says nowhere that you NEED the WT in order to understand the bible. Christ is the intermediary, NOT the WT and it's publications. Salvation thru Jesus NOT WT.

  • @afterraincomessun Does god bless the WT when it issues conflicting (reversing dogmatic doctrines, and they are dogmatic) and oftentimes ambivalent advice on vaccinations, blood transfusions, blood fractions, whether or not to shun family members? These conflicts have produced immeasurable pain, suffering and death because of the mouthpiece of god dared to state that the bible took specific stands on these issues. To my knowledge the WT has NEVER apologized for these egregious offenses.

  • @afterraincomessun part 2 all the items I mentioned involve reversals of doctrine in opposite directions...life threatening meddling by the WT, this is inexcusable for an org. that claims to get knowledge directly from god/bible. The general population in many key matters can do a much better job than this supposed mouthpiece on earth. How could god be pleased when these mistakes have caused so much suffering? Please answer this. History destroys, conclusively, any credibility of the WT

  • @MuscleMaxZ1 you are wrong:

the watchtower has insisted that bible laws on blood and sexuality will be kept and in this way the christian congregation will be kept clean in Gods eyes.

in doing so they saved the lives of many people because illnesses like aids kill.

Only the high moral standard of the bible is preached

Blood borne disease is also a killing factor.

the world will try to convince us from disobeying God but this is a matter of life and dead.

    you are following the world

  • @afterraincomessun The problem is that the WT in it's failed effort to keep bible laws on blood, etc. have changed repeatedly over the years in drastic ways, The WT does not know how to convey this biblical moral standard. It's changing doctrines have killed many people and the WT is bloodguilty in this regard. You are the one that is wrong, and BTW what about answers to my prior questions? You have still not answered them, but have given straw man arguments. I'm waiting...

  • @MuscleMaxZ1 so who is life threatening: you

by teaching to let go of the moral standards of the watchtower and chose for yourself whats good or bad: in this way avoiding the torture stake of Christ

en what ever Brother would teach such a thing like you , Paul tells us to shun him.

1 cor 5:quit mixing in company with anyone called a brother that is a fornicator or a greedy person or an idolater or a reviler or a drunkard or an extortioner

You dont teach the things of God but men

  • @afterraincomessun The WT itself does not know how to convey the moral standards of the bible concerning many things, including blood transfusions, etc. The WT tells it's members that the things of god are taught, but in every case it is THE OPINIONS OF THE MEN ON THE GB that are taught. Because of the dubious history of the WT, personally I think that the opinions of men (other than the GB) are a better bet in understanding bible "morality".

  • @MuscleMaxZ1 Jesus said :30 He that is not on my side is against me, and he that does not gather with me scatters.

38 And whoever does not accept his torture stake and follow after me is not worthy of me. 39 He that finds his soul will lose it, and he that loses his soul for my sake will find it.

  • @afterraincomessun Straw man arguments, but I will address. Many times during WT history, jesus' teachings were NOT followed, for instance MANY things that were taught out of The Finished Mystery book during the time that jesus supposedly approved of the WT in 1919, including stating that the lord assumes responsibility for The Finished Mystery (page 295)!!! I'm supposed to believe that Jesus approved the WT in 1919???

  • @MuscleMaxZ1 many religions dont want their followers to believe that God is going to judge the worldL

if then they have to teach the followers to really obey and not just believed they are already saved without the works of faith

then they will have to preach

believing that jehovah will judge this world requires a change of lifestyle

work for your salvation : walk on the narrow road

    do your utmost

no this would result in empty churches.

but bible prophecies point to that moment

  • @afterraincomessun With all due respect, your statement has nothing to do with the issues that I am addressing above. I take this to mean that you cannot address the points I raised or you won't for some reason. See my comments above. Unless you can address my questions or points, I don't see how this conversation can be productive. Just out of curiosity, why did you respond with the above remark? But please address my prior concerns. cheers.

  • @MuscleMaxZ1 it seems to me that you have found a better church

  • @MuscleMaxZ1 because other religion did not come even near a right explanation and they do not even teach the high moral standards of the bible , like

to be neutral in politics and wars ( not wanting to be a soldier ) and perhaps kill even your own brothers in christ that are from another country.

or say that marriage is holy and the only band for sex.

  • @afterraincomessun Many religions teach the high moral standards of the bible in this country, most evangelicals for instance. These are not sufficient reasons for believing the WT has god's favor, because the WT has gotten so many things wrong over time and is bloodguilty regarding it's immoral meddling into medical affairs etc. Other evangelicals have not done that so I could say that they have god's favor because they have not been bloodguilty regarding blood issues.

  • @MuscleMaxZ1 do you realize that from the 28 nations that had the first world war , 24 were nations whos religion was christianity?

nowadays we see many christians involved in worldly affairs instead of : abstaining from politics and so be no part of this world were Satan is God and were Jesus showed by his example what christians should do too?

have other churches such a good reputation ?

  • @MuscleMaxZ1 if you are an evangelical, would you kill another evangelical?

    this is what happened

it is good that christians have no part in the conflicts nor in the politics of this world:

they are good citizins that pay their taxes :

but they give God what is Gods :

to whom does your life belong?

    wouldnot you say to Jesus?

well did he try to conquer the roman impire?

did any of the early christians take part in that army?

  • @afterraincomessun part 2 Just because the WT teaches some unique things does not make them worthy of god's favor; uniqueness does not equal correctness or worthiness of favor. The past history of the WT renders them not believable since they have gotten so many things incorrect over time. See my previous comment about The Finished Mystery Book and Jesus's approving the org. in 1919...

  • @afterraincomessun One of my favorite teachings, that Jesus reviewed before the alleged choosing of the JWs to be his "visible" org. was that Michael the Archangel was not Jesus, but was instead the Pope. That is just one of the many, laugh out loud, teachings that would have been reviewed. They weren't even close. But the WT tells you what to think, and you just say yessir, that's it. No need to check for yourself, they tell you what you need to know, and DF you if you find out the real story.

  • @Danmera can you please state where they said this and when?

  • @afterraincomessun Yes, the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society publication The Finished Mystery.

  • 8 And the sucking child will certainly play upon the hole of the cobra; and upon the light aperture of a poisonous snake will a weaned child actually put his own hand. 9 They will not do any harm or cause any ruin in all my holy mountain; because the earth will certainly be filled with the knowledge of Jehovah as the waters are covering the very sea.

  • 6 And the wolf will actually reside for a while with the male lamb, and with the kid the leopard itself will lie down, and the calf and the maned young lion and the well-fed animal all together; and a mere little boy will be leader over them. 7 And the cow and the bear themselves will feed; together their young ones will lie down. And even the lion will eat straw just like the bull.

  • How about a copy of the letter you mention? That would be interesting to read.

  • The " concept " of earthly life is contained in the scriptures. Even Pre-christian Jews believed in the " Restoration " of all things according to GODS purposes for Mankind, an EARTHLY creation. The " concept" of the other teachings you mention do not exist anywhere in the scriptures. Inaccurate translations make it appear so, but these " concepts " contradict with the rest of the scriptures. The " concept " of Mankinds original purpose of life on earth, without death, is not contradictory.

  • we wouldnt realy need to research to see where jesus was refering to when he said paradise if you translate the word paradise wich meaning is 'park' so we see it is earthly

  • Jesus taught his disciples to pray for God's kingdom to come to the earth=Matthew 5:5, 6:9,10. He went preaching and saying, 'Repent you people, for the kingdom of the heavens has drawn near."-Matthew 4:17.The bible says people will live forever on the earth=Psalms chapter 37. Jesus said joint rulers will rule with him over the people on earth=Matthew 19:28,Romans 5:17,8:17. The bible teaches paradise also at Isaiah 2:4,65:17-25, 2Peter 3:13, Revelation 21:3,4. The kingdom is described in bible

  • I can't believe that people like you to claim to have gone to Gilead and pioneer skool wold have any doubts But the bible says that even the chosen ones wold fool your a hypocrite because you admitted it appears in Luck 23:43. unfortunately for you you terned apostate it, people like you that give wittiness's a bat name, I hope you came to your senses and returned to Jehovah hes the only source of life,

  • @lindacila This is the best comment ever. You will make it to my home page! Congratulations!

  • @lindacila Sorry for giving the JWs a bat name!

  • @ExGileadMissionary yeah so it says on Luck 23:43 wuss that stand for? Wonder what version is that book of Luck found?

  • @lindacila My friend grew up as a JW... she simply left when she was an adult and her family and friends disowned her, "shunned" her completely. Just for leaving. Not committing any "crime" or "sin", just leaving. She called it a cult. Sounds about right.

  • @brianpadrickdrake Witnesses shun their family and friends out of fear, not love, because if they show real love (which would not include shunning) then they themselves would be shunned and threatened with eternal destruction. It's not love it's based on the societies fear tactics, nothing more. It's reprehensible and immoral in every way.

  • @lindacila You might have checked your spelling before posting your reply.

  • @lindacila And what religion did you turn apostate from lindacila? Witnesses give witnesses a bad name the way they shun people, not out of love but out of fear that your loving org. will shun you! You are all brainwashed little "children", "sheep-like ones", which is an insult to intelligence. The Org. is what is your only source of life, not God or Jesus, you are worshiping an org. not God and you don't even realize it. Every aspect of your life is controlled by your handlers, the WT.

  • this is very interesting! i have a Jehovah Whitness friend and she always argues with me saying that the bible does talk about paradise earth and i keep telling her thats NOT biblical she still dont get! SMH -_-

  • @morasinlove

Adam and Eve were put on earth to fill it- GODS PURPOSE FOR US. Satan challenged God, and God is dealing with the challenge of His sovereignty(all the angels were watching). If a teacher who was giving a lecture was interrupted by a kid who spoke up and said, "No teacher, you are wrong." Would a good teacher just banish the out-spoken child? Or change his lecture because of the kid? No-He would listen to the child, it wasn't God's power that was the issue, it was his sovereignty

  • @S0ldier0fJah Fucking homophobic comments are not tolerated and will be deleted.

  • Therefor with this ....What is your future prophecy of HOPE??

  • Then why does it say the meek shall inherit the world.. After the man governments are removed. Surely then we must not dismiss the 'paradise earth' thing at all but think of it as a general term....

  • You remind me of Billy Crystal : D

  • @SANW2010 Man evolved and was not created, so your question is based on a false premise.

  • @ExGileadMissionary Tell me if what you're seeking is proof, where is the proof that man evolved?

  • @WTFtoucan17 How about doing something called... research!

  • @SANW2010 - I read the texts you're referring to and I still can't see the word paradise or and indication of the word paradise. Are you reading more than what it actually says. Can you please also explain what was man original purpose in being created? You asked the question, listed the text, and I don't know the answer. You also said the setting was like a beautiful park of paradise... Do people leaving in Hawaii, Costa Rica, and other beautiful places live in a paradise like Adam and Eve.

  • @SANW2010 God created man for His own glory..so that he could be Glorified and praised and adored..that is what he wants for us....God Bless you all!!!

  • JW's have completely misinterpreted the Bible. In the Lord Jesus' parable about the rich man and Lazarus, the rich man's soul was still conscious and burning in Hell. King David said that he would see his dead baby with Bathsheba again. Revelation talks about how the souls of people will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Charles Taze Russel did not have any theological training, education, and was NOT ordained by one of the churches. Case closed.

  • @munku121 The Bible is a bunch of mostly useless gobbledygook. Case closed.

  • @munku121 ....ummmm......... and that i suppose is your interpretation...who says yours is right?Case opened......

  • So, I have a question! For you. Are you currently one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and if not...why? Thank you for your answer in advance.

  • @victoriaisntsosecret Ummmmm did you even watch my videos????????? The answers are obvious.

  • So based on what you told me. There is a chance the other demoninations of Christianity are right when it come to people going to heaven or hell?

  • I was raised as a JW...then i decided to quit because i thought that what my father was teaching us (me and my sibblings) at home wasnt the same as in the bible....i was devasted and didnt want to go back. But JW's kept on coming at my door and eventually i started back studying the bible again with JW's...now i'm studying and seeing this vid...i dont no what to think or believe anymore, it makes me question if i am truly on the right path...feeling confused :S

  • @missmango84 What are you doubting? Feel free to send me a PM.

  • @ExGileadMissionary well i'm doubting if i have to continue studying...because the sisters i'm studying with are real good persons ( at least that's what i believe) and i am trying every week to go to the kingdom hall, but now everything feels double. As i dont know the whole bible by heart...i dont know if what they are teaching me is right...because they are so convinced it must be this way. I already tried to talk about 'paradise earth' and then she mentioned a text somewhere in rev. that..

  • @ExGileadMissionary we will live forever on earth and that that was the meaning of paradise earth...but i searched and searched on my own and you are right nowhere it is mentioned that paradise would be on earth....she didnt actually answered my question...

  • @missmango84 For me, when I started seeing the real truth of the WTS, I too was scared, didn't know what to think etc. What finally cinched it for me Deut 18:22 Jehovah makes is clear, how to identify a false prophet. When I brought this up, WTS never claimed to be an "inspired" prophet. Ok, I can buy that, however Prov 30:5-6 and Rev. 22:18-19 tells us not to change the scriptures, don't follow those who do. The WTS claims not to be inspired, yet changed the inspired word of god. NWT is diff.

  • @Danmera i agree gosh...this is really hard for me and i know they always have something back to say to cover you question...they wont take no for an answer...trying not to think about it too much :-(

  • @missmango84 Check out the liks on my home page for additional resources...

  • Also, after watching the video again I realize another thing that sets a JW apart from any other religion- the fact that you do not teach things that do not appear in the Bible. Nowhere in the Bible does it say God cannot die- could you explain why every JW I've talked to says that God cannot die, drawing this conclusion from their own reasoning, not the teachings in the Bible? (this leads into the argument of the Trinity which I personally believe in, based off revelations 1:17-18)

  • Rev. 2:7 "To him that conquers I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is the paradise of God."

Is the tree of life not located in the Garden of Eden, which was on the earth, and still is, yet hidden from our eyes?

  • @xkwiptwendl Are you asking what the JW viewpoint is?

  • @ExGileadMissionary

From what I understood from this video, JW believe that the tree of life is in heaven. Could be mistaken however, correct me if i'm wrong.

  • Jesus said whoever believes in HIM will be saved...God only knows our intent and to have judgment placed in the hands of a fellow man that has equal amount of sin as I and others is dangerous. Jesus came to die for our sins and not condemn. I was told my ex who was Jehova witness that my experience with Jesus was demonic and any of you can watch my testimony on my youtube channel and if you think its demonic, I feel sorry for you and I will pray for you.

  • @playhousempls No I don't think it was demonic. Moronic, maybe, but not demonic.

  • @ExGileadMissionary lol...ok? that wasnt too nice, but i still love ya

  • @playhousempls Don't mean to insult you. I refer to a belief in an intergalactic flying water-walking delusional zombie as moronic.

  • @ExGileadMissionary You don't insult me...I know what I experienced was truth so no matter what anyone says I will still believe. Thank you and have a great day

  • @playhousempls Please, consider this for a moment: Does it sound reasonable to you for someone to refuse viewing matters from another perspective regardless of any evidence to the contrary of their beliefs? Of course that's not reasonable. Nobody here is asking you to take everything at face value and totally disregard your belief system; however, you should read your own comment and ask yourself if it's a bit concerning. "No matter what anyone says I will still believe." That is unreasonable.

  • @playhousempls can you breakdown what it means to "believe" in HIM using the bible?

  • @warrington5312 Well believe and in Jesus Christ as lord Savior that he died on a cross for our sins and rose from the dead. Repent and ask for forgivness for your sins and try not to sin anymore. Read the bible. I guess it would have to be all that would be in the Bible. follow the word

  • @playhousempls Jesus never said he could do things on his own:

being saved by Jesus is only possible if you recognise the one that Jesus sent to us : His Father Jehovah.

  • I dont like the fact of "kicking someone out" Jesus said to forgive no matter...Jesus was amongst sinners and helping them.

  • im an ex jehovah witness as well when i asked the elders whydo we not celebrate chritmas? they simply told me that jesus birthday is not in december

  • @miklaloc13 so am i. but as i recall jesus only asked us to commemorate his death, not his birth. even the pope himself admitted it wasnt the actual date

  • im an ex jehovah witness as well when i asked the elders whydo we not celebrate chritmas? they simply told me that jesus birthday is not in december

  • @miklaloc13 Hey, could you IMAGINE if the Elders had to answer EVERYONE'S questions? They would be OVERWHELMED! I did my own research, and went to the library in Minneapolis, Mn. I checked our 10 books on Holidays and made copies of the major holidays info. I read them to remember what they really are occasionally. Also, you can SCOUR Matthew and Luke Chapters 2, where it doesn't give his birthday. This is evidence enough that Dec. 25 is not his b-day. You can look ONLINE-Google it.IT'S IMPORTANT

  • The 'tree of life' was originally in the paradise of Adam and Eve. Trees grow on earth. This is the only location as we can understand, where trees grow. Everyone refers to the garden of Eden as "PARADISE". In Revelation 2:7, we are promised if we endure, and make it through to the end, we will eat from the tree of life. It is quite reasonable to conclude that trees grow on earth, the tree of life was on earth. Jesus said the mild-tempered ones will INHERIT the earth at Matthew 5:5. Psalms 37:11

  • @eternityandforever Yet JWs will apply Rev 2:7 to heaven, not arth. So are you saying that the JW interpretation of Rev2:7 is wrong?

  • @eternityandforever Also, the JWs interpret Mt5:5 to refer to the anointed in heaven inheriting the earth. You are once again disagreeing with established JW teachings. If you are a JW, you are liable to be disfellowshipped for apostasy if you keep spreading these views. Join the club :)

  • @ExGileadMissionary I have NEVER heard Matthew 5:5 referred to the anointed, ONLY for people living on earth. Matthew 6:9,10 says to pray for God's Kingdom to come to the EARTH. I am not at all disagreeing with JW teachings. I have gone a total of 15 years to meetings, and I've NEVER heard any of the "earth" scriptures used for the heavenly hope. I do know that scriptures can have a dual, or multiple prophecy indication. I don't think YOU are being HONEST-you left, you are bitter=not accurate!

  • @eternityandforever *** w59 8/1 p. 479 Questions From Readers ***

Jesus here applied the expression “mild-tempered” or “meek” to his disciples of that time who were in line for the heavenly kingdom

  • @eternityandforever *** it-2 p. 576 Paradise ***

Revelation 2:7 mentions a “tree of life” in “the paradise of God” and that eating from it would be the privilege of the one “that conquers.” Since other promises given in this section of Revelation to such conquering ones clearly relate to their gaining a heavenly inheritance (Re 2:26-28; 3:12, 21), it seems evident that “the paradise of God” in this case is a heavenly one

  • The word paradise DOES occur MORE THAN one time in the bible-Revelation 2:7,..."to him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life which in in the midst of the paradise of God." Jesus promised the evildoer who died next to him at Luke 23:43,"Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise." So that evildoer would be resurrected unto paradise, Jesus promised him on that day. John 5:28,29,vs.29,"...unto a resurrection of life.." Psalms 37:29, righteous on earth forever.

  • @eternityandforever I guess you didn't watch the video, as I mention the FOUR times that the word paradise appears in the NWT, as well as address Ps 37:29.

  • proof of cult : baptized in the name of the Father, The Son, and the organization. Pure heresy. Y'Shua was Michael the Arch Angel? Pure heresy. Having the founder of your cult buried under a great pyramid, the 'oracle' for all of his false prophesies,...priceless. Saying that 'Jesus' is A god, but not the Father? Well, that is polytheism, and that is.....you guessed it.....pure heresy. I wonder if they will finally believe in a soul and hell...when their cult leads them straight there.

  • Orange juice isnt in the Bible either......it doesnt mean that it is evil. Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Jesus, its not bad or evil. Satan has gotten you to believe it is so he can rob you of everything good

  • @GAYPRIDE1985 Gay pride is not in the Bible either. But Gay Pride is a good thing. So rock on, brother. See you at a parade.

  • @ExGileadMissionary

Ya....that was kinda MY point. Things are good without being in the Bible. So there is no reason to shun those things....like Christmas and birthdays. Im glad u agree...

  • @GAYPRIDE1985 I didn't say that I follow the Bible - I am an atheist. Perhaps you missed the point of my vids... I'm pointing out the hypocrisy of JWs who claim that everything they believe is in the Bible, yet there are numerous beliefs that cannot be found in the Bible.

  • @ExGileadMissionary yeah, like the biggie...transfusion of blood, where is that topic even stated in the bible, and at one point the WT even admitted that transfusing was not addressed and that it was left up to each individual's conscience!!! Talk about adding to scripture...a big no-no I thought.

  • You need more time to get this answer more precise. There are going to be kings and priests who rule over the earth-Revelation 5:10. They had been killed for giving their witness about God-Revelation 20:4. They will rule forever-Rev. 22:5. Revelation 3:21. They are chosen from the earth-Revelation 14:1-3 they were bought from the earth. Who are their subjects, the ones they rule over? They are righteous people on the earth. Psalms 37:29,..."righteous...will possess the earth. Matthew 5:5

  • @eternityandforever you know what dont stress about this guy he was bored, and decide to advertise himself, i dont blame JW for cutting him out.
