@buryfc2010 I think most of the tone comes from the Jazz bass active pickups. It's a Marcus Miller version, so its very bright. On my Acoustic amp, I have the bass setting at 3, mid-lo at 5, mid-hi at 5 and treble at 6, plus I'm using a POD XT floor pedal to compress, noise gate and EQ the sound. Hope that helps. MrJ
