The penalty could indeed be high at the "waterfall", not only the rocks in the creek, but the poison ivy as well! I rode it in the 80s on a touring bike with toe clips, and I was purty nervous. Very nice video, using two cameras and switching the view. I like the quick crossfades to keep the tempo going.
Thanks SixGuns. We did indeed walk down the "waterfall" section. If one or both of us could ride it, I may have put it in the video but it would have slowed the 'pace." I feel like I should be able to ride it every time I get there but it just looks like the penalty of getting it wrong is not worth the risk. There is actually a video of someone attempting it on YouTube. I have also met a couple of women who have said they rode it. Maybe someday I'll grow a pair and ride it. lol
It would have been cool to see Matt (from Jason's camera) locking up the brakes upon reaching the top of the "wall" portion of that trail. Even better would be watching someone attempt to ride down it (whether successful or not) instead of porting to the bottom.
