thats a possibility, but sabotage is a great possibility too, like how one of russias largest dam's that dis functioned could have also been sabotage too, when big catastrophes on major commodities like that occur sabotage is very likely, large global companies apposing that nations verdict on issues that dont favor with theirs could be behind it, but your theory is a possibility too.
it is know fact that the so called first world companies do not bother about factory standard in third world.
evidence collected from former employees suggest that the factory was poorly maintained and the company did not listen to any complains regarding maintainance and it was obvious that the factory was heading towards a major disaster
well i m from bhopal i feel sorry that western media created a smoke screeen on DOW chemicals coz its in america thx to RT for atlest got guts to show that clip
The reason they were there in the first place was because of lax regulations. If third world countries managed their environmental, safety and labor laws better things like this would occur less frequently.
The same thing U.S gov did on Dominican Republic soil, toxic waste from Puerto Rico on the coast beach of the Dominican island. And nothing has been done or said, people are dying. Could this be part of the project "Reduce the Population"?

There's also the untold story of dumping toxic and radioactive waste off the Somali coast; those tribal fishermen weren't born into piracy.

Nah. They want to reduce the population to 500,000,000. 10,000 people over 25 years doesn't even make a dent in that.
