You know he almost came close to never being able to sing again in '99 while doing ozzfest 'cause he was screaming the wrong way and it fucked his voice up for a while. He was only able to talk for 30minutes a day so he would do it on stage and not talk for the rest of the day. He talks about it in one of their dvds I think. People think he fucked it up during Subliminal Verses, but he said he was just trying something different.

The Collector is about a guy who kidnaps this girl and basically adds her to his collection and keeps her. It's a weird kind of psychological thing, and Prosthetics takes it a little bit further - where he is put into a deep sick psychosis as he goes through the whole collecting thing, at the end of the song he ends up killing her and having sex with her."

Yeah, it was a concept that Anders came up with, but from what I've gathered, it later became a comparison thing. Like with "The Me Inside", both Anders and Corey did the same song and then someone compared the two and that's when they decided to have Corey as frontman. Idk if any of this is the case but that's my theory.
