Feel the passion I was at the 2005 coastal sound as a singer and the first time i heard this i broke down and wept as i felt the sound flow through me
A year later i lost my granpa and listened to the cd of this song every chance i get
Hahaha everyone is singing this is choir but I'm in a professional childrens chorale. Not being rude or anything but if you listen to a professional chorale sing this it's wayyy better than any old choir. We go through professional musicians and choral directors to get into this chorale so plz just give everyone to sing at there best abilities :)
@StarLine317 sorry i commmented on this a long time ago and i read it back and it came out soooo harsh and toattly not likei wanted it too....i really didnt even wanna say that but i did...hmmm O.o haha sorry i think you guys did pretty good
This needs more love... more soul in the song. You sound like a bunch of robots. Read the words.... feel the passion in the writing. Cuz I sure don't hear it.

Not to sound rude, but my choir teacher is a professional. And if you would make your "t's" lighter (less brooklyn style, if you will) it would be great. other than that, I enjoyed it. We are singing this in highschool choir. If someone records it, I'll be sure to send it to you.
This isn't exactly the happiest song-it's more bittersweet. And if they smile, their vowel sounds would suck. But to improve appearances they should work on facial animation like raising eyebrows for example.
except, this is a choir.... it may have been written by Ysaye Barnwell, a member of Sweet Honey in the Rock, however, it was adapted to be sung by a choir, therefore they should follow the rules of choral singing. If you had sixty + people singing all at once like they were divas, it would sound absolutely horrid.

The girls are pretty good, but let's face it... When it comes to singing this song, no one beats Keali'i Reichel.
